I'm not a fan of Sun Antonio Spurs nor a follower of Tim Duncan but in this season i appreciate what he has done for the team. I also like the teamwork of the Spurs..Its cute seeing old dogs like Tim and Manu setting the pace of the game. It seems that Tim is back in his younger self with the way he is playing now..So, i wouldn't be surprised if he will be able to bring his team to the finals..I would love to see Lakers and Spurs in the Western conference finals! What about you?

It would be nice to see phoenix and the spurs against eachother in the finals, although it won't happen probably...
This because off the great band that nash and tim built up at the mavericks and because off the hate between phoenix and spurs supporters (:

Here is my prediction:by the end of the season Lakers and Thunders will rank NO.1 and NO.1 in western conference ;then they both beat their enemies and meet in western finals.I am not saying Spurs aren't good, they just don't get the energy to survive the playoffs.Yes,they are experienced and Popovich is a great man,but playoffs are about hard balls, fierce physical collisions will be a lot.Spurs are too old for this.

I think the team with a fervent desire to win especially in the playoffs has a big chance of winning even with aging roster...Teamwork, trust on each other on and off the court and also having a never-say-die attitude of the players are important factors of making it this season... I think Spurs has the edge......

It's actually quite possible for the Spurs to make it that far. The major factor I can think of that can prevent that is injuries. The Spurs have been great so far because their main guys have been healthy and if that keeps up then they are good. Even though I'm not a San Antonio fan I can see that they can't be counted out. They are an old and experienced team that has won the championship before so they know how to handle things. But then again, it is pretty competitive in the West. We have to take Dallas into consideration too.

I really hope Dallas, L.A. and San Antonio main guys would be healthy until their last game of the season... I would love to see oldies against oldies fighting for supremacy in the west... an experienced team up against an experienced team...love that match up!

For now, I don't consider Denver as a Powerhouse team in the west. Let us consider the rumors bout the exit of Carmelo Anthony to other teams like Nets and Knicks, it really distract the teamwork and the character building of the team...Melo is a go-to-guy in Denver and the situation doesn't really help the team. Sorry, but I think Denver cannot make it to the Western Confe Finals.

I'm fairly certain that the Spurs and Lakers will face each other in the playoffs this year, but it will most likely be in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.
I believe the Lakers will fall to the 4th seed while the Spurs will maintain the 1 seed. OKC made some big changes at the deadline, adding Perkins and I think that gives them the edge, in regards to the final regular season standings.
