I am pretty interested what is the main thing you have in mind when going to an interview.Do you rely on your education, your previous experience or you just try to convince your former boss that you are suitable for the position even without any experience or proper education?

I rely on my experience and I talk freely..before walking in an interview I always make up my mind..if I don't get this job their are other company out too for an interview.I don't try to convince..all I show them that I am comfort, work load doesn't effect me and I can easily do the job.If you going for marketing or sales job...just interact as much as you could because the employers always look for good talker.

Experience counts for a lot in todays day and age when unemployment levels are high and a lot of people are competing for the same jobs. One should not just show experience but they should also show how they can fit into this new job and how they have everything it takes to get the job done. Finding a good job in todays day and age is not a simple task, good luck!

Thank you for the advice but I am really confused right now because everywhere I go they first start with my previous experience and I just graduated the university. Here our universities don't offer us some proper probation so when we graduate we have nothing but a bare diploma.

I try to bring up what experience I have, including education, to the interview. I try to focus on the job description and what the position is for and kind of tailor my wording around what they are looking for in an employee.

I try to go by my experience, but I've had bad experience with jobs in that I have quit or gotten fired. Right now I am hoping to get a job at one of my former employers, and if I do then I am going to keep it for years and years to come.

I go with a combination. I'm in school right now so if given the chance I mention that. I have had experience with customer service, so if that's the type of job I'm interviewing for I will mention previous positions that closely relate to the one I'm interviewing for. I also try to mention my skills, such as I'm customer service orientated, I'm self motivated, I'm highly determined, I'm a hard worker, a fast learner. Anything I feel may pertain to the position I'm applying for.
That is of course if I'm given the opportunity to say such things. Most of the interviews I've been on have asked specific questions, which I'm rarely ever prepaired to answer. One interview I went on asked me "What does honesty mean to you?" I hadn't thought I'd be asked that question. Typical questions are "Why did you choose this company?" "What do you think you can offer us that other applicants cannot?" But what does honesty mean to me? That one threw me for a loop! Thankfully I think fast on my feet so I answered it pretty well and ended up getting the job!

Well in this day and age it certainly helps to have some higher education, to find a job. I use my background in education and my previous experiences to wow the interviewer. Every job interview is different though. You really have to interview based on what you think they want to hear from you in order to get the job.
