Sometimes I now recall texts of songs I haven't heard from let's say 10 years. It is pretty weird because I thought I had a short lasting memory judging by the fact that I don't remember the things I study for more than 4 months.Do you feel the same way and which is the one sentence from a song you think you will never forget?

This is something I'm quite good at, and whenever I watch those game shows where one must sing a song and get the lyrics right, I am almost always right. I have a knack for remembering song lyrics. Sometimes I even remember the lyrics of a song which is quite tacky or annoying that I get embarrassed for knowing it! There are many lines of songs I can never forget, so it's really hard to pick one.

Hi mokkka!
Yeah I feel like I remember old lyrics. Actually there is a TV show called "Don't forget the lyrics" where they put you a song and you have to sing it like in a karaoke but at one part they erase the lyrics and you have to keep on singing and many don't, so they thought they knew it but its not true!
Have you seen it?
Well, my first language is in spanish, so a sentence from an old song I have in mind goes like this:
Par de dos que se dan, como pan y chocolate igual. Que el futbol va con la tarde del domingo....
Its a comparison of a couple with things like mexican hot cocoa and fresh baked bread, or soccer with a sunday at noon... and the hole song is of unusual things that relate and can be compared with love between two different people that get along!
Have a nice day!

Oh this comparison sounds great.I started imagining it :)
I haven't seen this show but I would be really happy if I have the chance to try my memory this way.Unfortunately here in Bulgaria people think less and less about doing funny things.
Thank you for your reply dear!

I completely know what you are talking about. I listen to a lot of country music but for some reason I can word for word rap that skee-lo song "I wish". I am 28 years old now and that song was popular 15 some years ago. I think we sometimes remember what we want to remember. For example, I think a lmost everyone of all different generations can for the most part sing the song to the fresh prince of belair. It is very funny what our minds want to remember and dont want to remember. I think sometimes all it is, is something sparking our interest and staying with us.
