Last Time You Were Sick or Injured What was Wrong?

I think I was suffering from bronchitis again... I get it often because I'm a smoker and because I get allergic reactions that affect my lungs real quick.. It's not as bad as pneumonia but I can imagine how she must sound when she takes a deep breath ;) I wish her a quick and great recovery! Happy myLotting! -Milamber

I wish that your wife could recover from pneumonia soon. I had a bout with that too 4 years ago, but was well after a month long of medicines and eating lots of fruits and vegetables. Just last week i had a bout with whooping cough and colds. I thought it would just go away, but it persisted until day 6, so i had to see a doctor. I had my nasal x-ray and chest x-ray. It turned out i have sinusitis. I was given antibiotics for 3 days, then i am now okay , but with just an every now and then slight coughing. I still have to treat my sinusitis though for one month and continue the medicines prescribed for it. Though, i was thinking of not taking the anti-allergy medicines and nasal spray she prescribed because i already feel okay. I know, i am not a doctor but i am the owner of my body, so i more or less know if i am already okay or not. Right?

The last time I was sick, I had a bad case of gastritis. I didn't know what it was, but I was having pains around the chest area, and was worried it was a heart attack. They weren't very bad pains, but they were chest pains and did last for awhile, so I went to the emergency room. Didn't turn out to be anything terrible. I just needed a change of diet - no daily Pepsi, sigh- and I had to take huge pills for about a month.

I had pneumonia which is quite a hard word to spell. I still don't think that I am completely over it, I am still coughing a lot especially at night and I have developed an infection in my chest and I am in a lot of pain. Other that the coughing and the chest pain I feel fine, but nights are very difficult for me. The doctor put me on some new antibiotics.

Haven't been injured for a long time. The last I've had was ruptured pelvis but that was when I was just a kid. I fell from the second floor of our school building trying to chase a cat.
