The Real ID Act of 2005

Back in 2005 the Democrats and Republicans got together and sign a bill into law. This bill was supposed to help defeat terrorism by forcing people to get a federal compatible ID through their state. Unfortunately, there wasn't much of a fuss because of the state of the nation at the time. We were all "afraid" of getting bombed again by these nutcase terrorists. When people are afraid they do crazy things like allow healthcare and welfare laws and let the federal government step into their lives and make things miserable for you. What does this ID actually do? Well sure, it will make it more difficult for terrorists to get into the country, but it won't stop them from doing their thing. It will make it more difficult, but in the last 200-some odd years we've been FINE without it. Even during the last 10 years after 911 we haven't needed it. Of course the many of the Democrats who didn't want it I'm sure want it now because it falls right into their plan of socialism. This is NOT what we need people. What we need, and what has made our country great, is FREEDOM from this kind of statist behavior. What it will do is make EVERYTHING you do easier to track. I don't mean illegal things. Sure, someone who breaks the law by murder, stealing, etc should be arrested, but your privacy as an innocent civilian is being stepped on. Did you fight it in 2005? Congress should REPEAL it just like they're doing with this health care monstrosity. Call your congressman and ask him to repeal this unconstitutional law today. The 4th amendment DOES matter even today.

The ID was only done in some chickenass states...like Fl. There are already so many ways to track you it is not funny. Have you looked up lately...Smile you are on candid camera...EVERYWHERE! Even as you go in the public potty door. Do they need to know how often we do that too? Call me I'll give you the up to date details Napolitano... Your credit cards let folks know how often you change your undies by how often you buy new ones...lol and they do keep track of things like how often you buy undies...so sales fliers can be sent to you.

My chickenass state of Florida has a national ID? That's odd since the only thing I have is a driver's license that says State of Florida on it. Do you think they overlooked us down here in Hooterville?

This is another case of using a criminal problem to further restrict the rights of noncriminals. We already are required to have I.D... to drive.. to vote.. Terrorists are not going to line up for their I.D. - In summary just another grab of power and authority over the law abiding. Why?? When in the meantime, ignoring some voting w/o I.D, promoting massive fraud, and the mandate to not check I.D. of those illegally in the country.

First, foremost and most important: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." ~U.S. Constitution, amendment 10 According to that, the federal government does not have the authority to create a national Id standard. So, real ID implementation is illegal in my state, we passed a nullification law as soon as it came out. Many other states did the same but I don't know how many have caved and adopted real Id since then. I know it's still illegal in my state though.

A passport doesn't identify us? A driving license doesn't identify us? Etc.? Why do we need an additional identity card in so many countries? The weird thing is that one country's identity card is not accepted in another. Just how do we identify ourselves. How long will it be before we are all tattooed like nazi era Jews?
