Many people these days have pets in their home. The thing is that they always like to dress up their pets. They even go to stores to buy clothing or accessories for their pets. But I don't think the pets liked to be dressed up in some kind of costume that their owner bought for them. It's kind of silly to me. After all, they do have fur to keep themselves warm. What do you think?

I really do not know why people dress up their pets. But, I think it is because for the love of their pets as well that drove these people to dress them up.

Maybe. But, I guess some pets would be like "Yeah I look good, I am pimpin'"

There's only one answer to that, VANITY. It's just to show off their pets and how fortunate they are.

It seems it is very normal here. First, the weather has been cold in these days. So the pet owners may be afraid of their pets will get cold. So they dress them. Second, some people think their pets will look cute when they wear pet clothes. As to me, I think the pets don't have to wear the pet clothes. Actually my dog would never like to have something on his body.
I love China

I haven't a clue why people would torture the ones they love, animals are loyal and will be gladly be humiliated by their owner for there affection. I think its mean to dress your pets

I have 2 dogs. One is a short hair pit bull and the other is a long hair border collie. I have a hoodie for my short hair pit bull becuase he gets cold in the winter. He shivers and doesn't like to be outside. He has no problem with me putting the hoodie on and actually kind of has a routine with it. I do not dress my long hair border collie because he doesn't get cold when he is outside. My dog only wears the hoodie when it is cold outside and that's it. I did buy the hoodie at a specialty store for dogs. It fits him well and he is able to releive himself with it on. Would you consider this to be cruel?

No, I don't think it's cruel to dress your dog up if it is feeling cold, but there are a lot of others who dress their pet even when it is under a hot weather. I really pity the dogs. We human can take off our clothes when we are feeling hot but the dogs can't.
