What if you turned out to be a prophet?

Important points in this problem is to determine whether this comes really from the Lord or simply claimed to be from the Lord. Should be tested first whether it is true that an angel came to me that the messenger of the LORD or just claiming to be angelic messenger of the LORD. How to test also] not difficult, because the LORD was not wishy-washy, so just be seen only if the incoming message is consistent with previous messages of the Lord. If we do not fit means the angelic messenger of the LORD came not but the demon who claimed to be the messenger of GOD. Indeed it is said the devil as a liar, so do not be surprised if the Devil came to love people and claiming to be angelic messenger of the Lord.

In all honesty, this is not God. If you knew God, you would know this. But let's say for example some spirit came to me as you suggest. I would ask a million questions of this spirit, then kindly point this wayward spirit so they might have a small glimpse of what God is really all about. WE are all prophets in our own way. By giving everyone a different view, God guaranties mankind a larger view than any one person could have. Want to be a prophet?? Simply share your view with others. Similar to what Bird said above, you have to understand God and understand the gravity of prophethood and the ultimate responsibility of carrying God's message. Forgive me, but you seem to portray this concept from the point of view of human weakness and material methodology. Remember, the reason why any Prophet is sent or a religion is formed, is merely as goodwill gesture from God Himself. He does not need us or is desperate for us to listen, rather is you and I to benefit from Him. And benefit from Him is beyond compression and limitless compared to this world. Therefore all discussions of this type need to be put in this context and given the respect it deserves. As far as the person is concerned, God choses this Himself when He creates the person - the person is trained and readied by God and he is already at a very high standard of devotion to God. If God were to send one then it would be unlikely to be a material person and definitely not a criminal. Those who are very near to God will have some chance. God's Design however, is to send Messenger's for the purpose of making people aware of reason for their existence linking them with GOd. When mankind detteriates everwhere to the woes of Satan, a Prophet is usually sent, either with a new Law or a reviver of the religion. This is the function of a prophet. As for false prophets and ignorance of commandments from God, these are dependant of how mankind is spirually aware or blind. The only way to sense the truth is through God Himself, but peacefully allowing an open mind looking at your own scriptures and beliefs and reconciling where needed. Christians have the Bible, Muslims have the Quran and Saying of the Prophet Muhammad to rely on. Christians believe in the second coming of Christ, Muslims also believe this as the Promised Messiah. Yet how would one recognise him when came? Has he come and gone already? I was speaking the other day to a sect in Islam who claim that he indeed has come and gone back in 1889, born in Qadian, India, he founded the Ahmadi sect. Intrigue came about, when its following in over 100 years has crept over 160 million worldwide, have the biggest mosque in Western Europe, and has a 24 hour channel for the world. They are on the 5th Caliph. Are these people genuine? For a prophet imposter is usually finished by God Himself, as was the Waco disaster where again prophethood was claimed but came to an abrupt end. Therefore, with beleifs and counter-beliefs, and the riley passions of man, and often heated and regretfully violent movements against another, there is only one way to dicipher from all the fog of rhetoric. Peace, and read and read and read the scriptures and seek answers from God, not men. Debate openly, but seek from God.

When millions of children are born malnourished and living every day, seems to have been born by the new prophet of god. For me, god is a neutral figure. If men or women do not use contraceptives, god will not intervene and this man will continue to breed unchecked. So, there may be a new prophet of them and maybe also it is your prophet. Selfishness is too rusty in the male soul and heart to let the kids (Islamic, Christian, atheist, ...) hunger before his eyes. Indonesian people should have a little look to Japan or other developed countries how reason was used and not constantly make the child who will bother many people. So, if I am a prophet, it is unlawful polygamy, pedophilia, and children of their own (before the earth's population is reduced).

Do not ask like a child. There is no "suppose". This real world is not a dream. if you type it was still sleeping, wake up wash my face first. No more new religion today. now we are in end times. think about the fate of so many distinguished former number who go to hell all, because true religion just arrived today. What they all fit in the hell of it. heeeee. God is really cruel if new true religion revealed today. of whether the mistakes made by the ancients to the present, so they have not given a clue?. God is so cruel?.

that there will be a / imam mahdi who will straighten out the true teachings of Islam. he is a / the elect who will be the sun of the world for mankind. he is not a prophet.

If I thought I was being approached to be a prohpet for God, I would know it is a trick of Satan. Since God has published His Word (Holy Bible)in black and white for all the world to read, He has no use for prophets.

Once upon-a-time there were 3 little pigs. The first Pig built his house out of brick. The second built his house out of wood, and the last little pig built his house out of straw. The big bad wolf came along one night and blew the straw house down, and ate the little pig. Next night the wolf blew down the wood house and ate that little pig. The next night the wolf tried and tried to blow down the house of brick, But he could not do it, and that little pig lived safely ever after! You are thinking that this is a fairy-tale, but God has come to the little pig who built the house of brick!

i don't believe its possible as Jesus has already preached the truth.

If someone told me that i was a prophet, I would have to pinch myself to wake up from my dream. i just don't see myself as being prophet material. i don't think i am in tune enough with the world to meet prophet requirements.

in the Bible it is said that it would be many false prophets who will come into this world to bring healing, miracles and they will invite us to turn away from our Lord. These events are just the fulfillment of her now just for us vigilant.

It depends how God would came to me : if he rings me by Skype, saying "God's speaking here", I will probably hang up the phone and I can be responsible for the end of the world. If he comes with an ID and a social security number, or can prove me by every possible means that he is God, I have to accept without questioning. I will do my mission with faith : I know that everybody attacking the prophet of God will be punished. God save his servants.
