I regret that van Bommel has left Bayern, because he was a fantastic captain for the team. He is a rough player, with dirty tackles, but very impulsive and gave the team the security which was needed and the moral when they were loosing. I think he will be a key figure at Milan as well and I wish him all the best.
As for Emanuelson, I haven't seen him very much, but I know that he was a regular first team choice at Ajax, so it is definitely a good signing for Milan.
I think Milan has ensured himself and will have no problems winning the Italian league.

ya, van bommel is key figure in PSV and bayern munchen..
i think bayern is so lost when must to sell him...he become a important player...
but i dont think that van bommel become a key player in milan.
why?
i remember like flamini future in milan..
flamini is key player in arsenal..but now flamini is only reserve in mlan..

i know that van bommel is not flamini..i dont same them..i only worry that van bommel like flamini in milan..
milan dont understand how to play flamini because they still had gattuso and ambrosini..
dont forget too that van bommel is more older than flamini...

Bayern is not Arsenal, van Bommel is not Flamini. To be the captain of Bayern is more than being a player at Arsenal. Mark van Bommel is definitely more valuable than Flamini, even though he is 33 years old. Milan has bought him because he was needed and if he will play at the level which he played at Bayern, he will be a regular first team player.

AC Milan seems to be in a shopping mood this year. I think they are revamping their team with future in mind. I am actually surprised that Van Bommel moved from Bayern to AC Milan. He was the captain there and was pretty much happy, so am really surprised to see this news. For Emanuelson, Serie A is the leap to the next level of competition after playing in the Dutch league.
Cheers!

van bommel is one of the best midfield in bundes liga but.. in italy he will hav a rough day. his age will be consideration point since he is getting to old for this game. Milan probably use him as a second layer.
emanuelson... he is one of the braziliian talent but never shine that much like van bommel. i hope this two will shine a calcio day every giornata. buono calcio milan

They have gotten some great players so far including their two newest ones. Van bommel will be a big loss for bayern who are almost entirely out of the bundesliga title chase. While on the other band van bommels quality and experience should help milan with their title aspirations.

It has been a great summer and winter for AC Milan they got Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Cassano, Prince-Boateng, Emanuelson and Van Bommel. They do however have on problem with all of these signings. They have TOO many midfielders. On their current roster they have these players for 4 midfield spots (assuming they will run a 4-3-1-2 for the rest of the season;
Mark van Bommel
Gattuso
Seedorf
Strasser
Flamini
Pirlo
Ambrossini
Prince-Boateng
Emanuelson
Alexander Merkel
and Thiago Silva has played defending midfielder in some games.
The recent additions are nice but I think they have way too many midfielders. I think they should try to sell 1 or 2 of these players listed above as they will have more money to sign players down the road.
