Corned Beef on a Foil Pouch

I am on a rant here because I am so disappointed with this corned beef because of the amount of corned beef on their supposedly single serve pouch. I am talking about Swift corned beef, they sell it now in single foil packs or sachets. I thought because of the price, I would get my money's worth but I was wrong.
I could not eat what my mom was going to eat because she had fish for dinner. I said no problem because I do have some canned goods in my pantry. My brother who lives abroad was the one who bought this corned beef in a sachet. So I assumed that one pouch would be enough for me.
When I opened the pouch, all that pouch contained is about a tablespoon worth of corned beef. And I am not exaggerating because I was able to scoop it in my spoon. Are we Filipinos that poor that these food manufacturers expect us to buy a pouch for P24 (that's $.50) and eat it with a bowl of rice? Imagine people buying this pouch or sachet expecting that they can serve it to their family and all they get is a tablespoon worth. It's like I just paid for the packaging which is the foil pouch! If that is the case where the packaging is more expensive then, don't produce it!
Have you ever had any experiences like this?

Actually i haven't seen what you are talking about yet in the supermarket.
I guess, that corned beef in sachet is meant to be a spread for a pandesal or a pair of sliced bread only. Or maybe that sachet is meant for a skinny person !
That's how commercialized those things are today, and should not amaze us anymore ! We should be vigilant of what we are buying, because some of them are so deceptive.
Have a nice day!

The content was posted on the pack itself so you should have checked it before buying it. I guess all you can do for this is alert the public about it and what you did right here is correct. I guess I won't be buying any products from that manufacturer, thanks to your story.

Nope, here my friend don't think that I'm depense the manufacturer. Being a customer, consumer we are all known what the size of sachet. Definitely small you see sachet of coffee, shampoo and others. Because as your side your thinking that size of sachet (I don't know what is the size) your meal will be okay on that. I don't what the manufacturer purpose on that and only I'm sure there is a size or weight content of the corned beef. The funny thing there, is you purchased the sachet packet (foil) as the price given not the content of corned beef... LOL. see you around
