Have you ever been so exhausted that taking your next breath seem like a chore that you just did'nt have the energy to bother with? Please tell me that i'm not the only one.

It happens every now and then, when I forget I'm no longer 15 and I can't spend three days and three nights without sleeping anymore. It's usually after a sleepless night, when I perform a task that requires my undivided attention and keeps my adrenaline level high. As soon as I'm done with that task, I feel the exhaustion and I tell my co-workers: "If I fall asleep, don't wake me up, but if I stop breathing, try to resuscitate me, please"

I suffer from insommnia but don't work outside the home. There is no reason fo me to be so tired all the time.

I think pain is a lot of why i can't sleep, ( i've a lot of nerve damage in my shoulders and hips) it's plain hard to go to sleep when no matter how you lay you hurt. Put that on top of plain insomnia which i've had my entire life and i'm just outta luck.LOL

cjgrooms, try not to be too hard on yourself. Insomnia is an awful condition, even if you don't go to an office or don't get involved in hard manual work, it's still enough to mess up your health. Have you seen a doctor about it? They gave me some herbal stuff, because I don't react well to sleeping pills, and it seems to be working (when I have the patience to make the tea and drink it). On several occasions I was simply too tired to sleep. It wasn't a regular insomnia night, I was sleepy, but every time I closed my eyes it felt like fainting instead of falling asleep. So I know it can be really hard, maybe you should seek specialized help and try out some medical solutions.

Yes it happens to me many times, specially when I am doing many things at the same time. Also if I run fast to catch the bus.I think with age and weight, breathing becomes heavy and difficult. But after rest of few minutes , we come back to normal breathing. I think this is common and nothing to worry about. But if you are feeling weak, may be you should see the doctor.

I've been like that when I've had a bad dose of depression. It seems to take actual effort to draw the next breath. And then the effort would be enough to make me want to give up and cry.

I have been so exhausted whenever I'm on my way to school. I had to walk a long way after I drop off. That's one of the frustrating things whenever I'm going to school.
