If you can live your life again, what will you choose to be?

We all have dreams when we were young. We wanted to be pilots, presidents, politicians, etc., etc.
How many of us achieve our dreams?
Share with us if you did, and how you got where you are so others can learn.
If we didn't and have a chance to do it all over again (hypothetically), what would you choose to be and how you would go about making it right the second time?

If I have a second chance,
I wish I was never born again on this earth. Let me be something else. Not human being nor super being. :)
Life is very tough these days.

Awww..Jacklin, don't wish for that. It will make many people sad, including me.
You are highly appreciated, and you are my friend. If life is tough, talk to us, in here or otherwise, and we see how to help resolve the issue(s). As much as I can as a friend. Shall we discuss?

If I could life my life again, I would like to be part of a royal family. I don't know but I have always been amazed with the lives of queens and kings, princes and princesses. I like watching period movies or movies featuring monarchs, such as Elizabeth, The Other Boleyn Girl, The King's Speech. I want to experience having such authority, power, and respect from the people.
However, reality-wise, when I was a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a doctor because that was what the people around me always told me to become. My mom even bought me a toy stethoscope. But when I was growing up, I become more interested in teaching. I had cousins, and what I did was to act as their teacher during playtime. I made worksheets and exam papers. When I was in university, I was very certain of what I wanted to be - a teacher.

Hi wonder woman, oh..I am mistaken, hlgmdt.
Oh your royal highness, Your sure are a go-getter: Power, Authority, Respect. I can agree with the first two, but the third you probably have to earn it, no matter what your status may be.
Can I conclude you are now a teacher? If so, I applaud you because you answered more to a calling I suppose. Being a teacher is not easy. Being a trainer might be easier and more lucrative too.
Ehh...if you ever marry a prince and go into the "royal harem", please remember us. Hehe..Oh royal highness.

haha, you mean hit the Restart button and try again!
I like the way things always work out in the end.
I think I do not need to start all over again. Too tedious to think about passing examinations and all that.
Maybe just change the past ten years, so that I can write articles ten years earlier, and buy gold and silver when the price was very, very low.
Probably to learn more about investments in earlier age, before graduation, so that I have enough knowledge and wisdom to manage money better.

Ctrl-Alt-Delete....something like that. But you are looking more towards system restore to 10-years-ago. Maybe I might like it now (I don't know), but I enjoyed exams in Uni...haha....
I totally agree about the writing articles part and investments too. At least you started earlier than me.
You must also be aware that of the many writers in the writing sites, I searched and found many have dropped off...quite sad...and if we start earlier we might also be like them. This is not a guarantee we won't be eventually, but when we do, let's hope because we have arrived!!!! hehe.

I'll be honest, I'll be who I am with perhaps the most minor of changes in the world. There are a lot of times that I am really pleased with my life. Perhaps really not the best life but it is really it is the life that I really lived. There are a lot of things that I wished I had done a little bit sooner. Perhaps if I had done some things sooner, I think I would be a bit more in life.
So yeah I really think that I would live several parts of my life rather early. However, there are a lot of times where I would not change too much of anything. Just really when you think about it, just because my life is not the best, does not really mean the life that I would choose to live again would be any better. It could in fact be worse. Still with a few tweaks here and there would be my ideal relived life.

That's great confidence in yourself. I like it. Yes, sometimes we wish we knew thing earlier. I do have that thinking once in a while. Cheers!

If I could do it all over again, I would be a Pediatrician, because I so love children. I would especially enjoy watching them grow year after year as they come in for routine and well visits.
How would I go about it to make it right a second time around, would be to have remained longer in college and not be dis way by my ex-husband which caused me to stop furthering my college years and go on to be this really loved Pediatrician.

Awww....i love children too. You are an inspiration for me in here. I believe it is not easy to be a Pediatrician because kids may not always be co-operative, but they are always adorable.
Let the episode with your ex-hus pass. Why don't you start now to pursue being the pediatrician, as long as you promised all of us here you are going to continue to be the hardworking Wendy. Cheers, gurl!

I will definitely not want to live my life this way again. But then again, there's nothing wrong or bad in leading my life in this way because i learned alot, and gained alot of exposure, which i never thought i would. Experiences and failures or success in life are expected. Without the bad, we won't appreciate the good. IF i'm leading too good life, i will never know the pain of suffering. My choice will be living the same way i'm living now.

If I get to live a second life, I choose to be Superman because he's indestructible. In fact, we should all be Supermen. That way, we'll all be safe from sickness except from kryptonites.

Hi dear,
I don't know many will go for it. But my choice can be exceptional - I want it by how I am now and that is the way I want back. Because I like myself very well and the man within me is different in many ways than others. Of course, there may be some changes. But my nature as it is fine with me. By the way, what is your choice? Something better?
Thank-s

I like your response. We should learn to accept and like ourselves. There is no right or wrong answers in here. Good on you, man.
As for me, I won't complain if I were myself again, but if I can be in a position where I can help others more, I won't mind at all.
Sometimes I really wish I knew then what I know now, then the plan and execution would be different, so will the outcome.
Thanks, thanks.

Yes, and make sure you are a successful one. Then again, why wait till next time. This seems achievable in this life, so puccagirl, go for it and when you succeed, remember us all in here....especially me, ok?

I really wanted to be nun when I was a young girl. I grew up admiring those devoted women doing charity works and their devotions to Christ is admirable. But I did not end up as a nun because I fell in love. If given a second chance, I will pursue this vow and enter the monastery. How will I achieve it, oh, I will not fell in love and try not to meet the boy who stole my heart years ago and change all of my dreams and goals in life!

Mmmm...a Mother Theresa in the making....until the boy came along? Yes, I have seen fellow Christians who gave up all, deny themselves to bear the cross
God also wants the best for us. There is a reason why the boy came to your life. Maybe he might be your partner in service. Who knows, we never do...but God is in control....Edna.
