why prayer is important?

for me, honestly, i only pray sometimes but not only when i need it.. praying is important for me since it is the food of our soul, it is one way of clearing our soul from sis, it helps us from being doubtful in everything we think it is, it helps us to be so secure in our journey.. hmp..

I think that pray is a kind of custom towards some people in the world.Just as you,you are a prayer who do it every day,and the pray play a important role in your life

prayers for me too is important, it somehow help me keep me at the right road, right path. helps me remember that life is worth living. it helps also me to help other people through praying. guess i learned that from my wife. she prays all the time. she even light a candle for someone or somebody even she does not know them personally. she lights candle then say a little prayer. for example she see someone on tv dying she will light a candle and say a little prayer. when a friend will travel she will light a candle for a safety voyage.... something like that.

I usually pray every day before. But now, I do it very little. I know that prayer is very important. It help us to find our belief and soul. But a busy life make me leaving it day by day.

I always believe in prayer even though I am not a pious man. I believe that will always listen to my prayer no matter how sinful I am. When ever after I prayed, I feel so calm and there is peace in my heart. I always remember by just doing the sign of cross, it the simplest prayer that I can do.

For me prayer is important because it brings me peace mind and bodily.I like going to church to pray,whenever I do it very well and very calm.I love going to church every Sunday to pray,is very, very nice and gives you peace of mind for the rest of the week

I don't believe in prayer as I don't believe there is anything to pray to, and even if there were it would be a waste of my time anyway. I do believe in internal reflection on an as-needed basis.

Prayer is a hope for me. By always pray, I have hope for my life. I always pray every day, when about to do anything I always pray. I'm not going to be people of hope, if I do not pray. Praying is very important to me, and I never forget to always pray.

Prayer is important to me because it stills my mind and soul from all the troubles I've been going through. It helps me realize what's right and what's wrong. I've done awful things but with prayer I can avoid doing those things the second time around. It all depend on our mental condition. We got a habit of prying from the childhood and it follows. Not only praying also all other daily practices has its own importance. Even I had the habit of praying when I was a child and continued for a log period of time. But for the last one year or more, I could not find any meaning on it. But if we just think we will feel it is wrong. Think independently then we can realise the meaningless on this process. In normal way we cannot even imaging without praying. As a muslim, we pray a few times a day and it is not just 'pray when you are in troubles.'It is an obligation for us to pray.For me prayer is a form of way for us to communicate with god.It is the connection between us and god.Like lovers who will miss each other when they can't meet, for someone who always pray to god will fell sense of missing if they do not do so.

I think everyone prayer only when one needs it. If one prayers daily then it is needed daily by the person. I also prayer when I feel that I need to do it or whenever my heart demands for it.

being in a catholic country, i've caught the habit of praying very early in my life. i usually pray whenever i need guidance during a hardship, when there's a milestone that i want to be thankful for, when there is something i am wishing for to come true, pretty much all the time... i am an active member of our church community and i do give praying great importance because i've seen its miracles time and time again within my life and also thru other people's lives as well...

Hi Asliah, I believe Praying would definitely have a positive output in our personnel life, what ever religion you are in, Praying always has a first place. Praying in difficult situations will solve your problems. Some non believers will relay on there self, I have some of my friends who really don't pray but succeeded in there life. so it's left to the individuals perspective thinking .
