Why cant Bones and Booth get it together?

Its a technique to keep audiences tuned to the show. Writers make a lot of stuff and twists make the audience engage not only in the storyline but also in the characters. This way, the show has a chance of gaining a lot of viewership on the start of the season. Also, the characters themselves are already on the road of relationship - their personalities just clash together. It's the same with real couples here on the real world.

I never really follow this series closely .. but I've read the synopsis of the series sometimes and wonder why Bones and Booth can't get it together too ... maybe that's the selling point of the series. So now that Bones is going to Indonesia and Booth to Afghanistan as you've said .. it's going to complicate the situation more and I'm guessing fans will be more glued for sure. Imperfectly perfect , I like that phrase.

I think that is how they keep the show going. People keep watching in the hopes that they will get together. Each season it seems like they are getting close so people hang on hoping it will happen. I think eventually hannah will be bothered by how close he and Bones are and she will leave. I think for now they will keep them apart and then when they end the show they will come together.
