what is your favorite "free stuff" site ??

There are so many sites out there on the internet that allows us to get free stuff...
I was recently watching a daily talk show --while I was cleaning and listenting--and there was a woman on there that was talking about blogs, getting free stuff online, and ways to save money.
Well this of course got my attention as a full time mom and on a serious budget... she said there are sites that you can get free fruit, rent items at 1/4 of there price, etc.
So this has me wondering, do you know of free sites that offers free things, even just coupons for free things?? If so how many sites do you know of and what is your favorite one??
I go to "walmart/free samples" every couple months and request free things from there... it takes about 3 wks to get the stuff, but it does come in the mail. Have you ever tried to get free samples from sites like this??
I have gotten shampoo's, feminine products, and dryer sheets recently... all of which comes in handy!!

It is a very good topic that you have created. I have been looking for coupons and free samples and stuff and I don't know where to find these resources seeing it mihg t be scams of wanting to only get your information. I do the same as you at wal-mart to get free sample, I just check daily to see if it has anything interesting. good discussion!!

thanks!! I really hope that this discussion helps others out as well and gives people something to look into for there area that can help them and get freebies as well.
I am trying to get more computer time, however as a full time mom it is hard to fit in some days but I am looking more and more into new sites and freebies that I can let others know about and put to use for themselves.

I love freebie & discount sites! Ever since leaving full-time work and going back to full-time study, I've been watching the pennies and getting into the internet surveys and ways to be a more savvy shopper. Unfortunately I'm in the UK, so the sites I use won't be useful for you and visa versa. I've received quite a few free samples of things like face creams, and also some bigger things like a free novel, as well as things to test (I tested an epilator once and got to keep it!) I will, however, just say to be careful because there are lots of scams out there and companies that just want your details to dedicate a steady stream of spam into your inbox and down your phone line. Getting recommendations from others who can vouch for the site, or checking out online reviews of it, is always a good idea just incase :)

I know that some sites only work for certain areas....but I hope by bringing up this discussion here others will start to search there areas/sites that will work from them and find some great deals.

I am actually considering starting a blog or something on sites that give out free things, I am looking into a few right now to see what I can get and pass on the information here as well.
In todays economy and families need every little extra....we need this information out there to help ourselves and them.

I have one I have used for many years. It is actualfreestuff.com. They update daily and have daily deals.

It's a lot of blogs or websites that offer a variety of free stuff. I have attended several free survey program from some website and every month i get a coupon that can be used for shopping. But there also must try harder to get and not as easy what you think.

hey, if you found something that works for you that is great... and hopefully others here can learn about these sites and see what is available to them and works for them. We all need that little extra right now and by talking about it here helps us all!!
