Have any mylotters have good tips of growing blueberry bushes?

I know it is winter but I want to look forward to something for Spring. Since my first of blueberry bushes got chopped by neighbor lawn mower which he gave money to buy more and I bought total of six plants off the TV advertisement which were not in good shape and all died 3 were dead to begin with when received and to get my moeny back was for the birds. it was same place you buy those tomaotoes you plant upside down in that green bag... so does anyone have good tips on growing blueberry bushes. I will buy them again from Lowes but a bigger size and hopefelly they will take better to my ground etc.. I know about the coffee grinds but anything else I can use or watch out for?
