I bought two lobster tails and am planning to make a romantic meal for my wife and I, but I've no idea what to do with them, anybody got any ideas?

There are so many ways to cook lobster tails that are so delicious. But since it will be a romantic meal, you also want good presentation so that she can be impressed with you right? First preheat oven to 375F. One way is to split the tails on the meat side and place the tails in a small or medium sized baking pan. Season them with pinch of garlic, black pepper, and oregano. Have some melted butter about 1/3 cup and cover tails completely with the butter. Place uncovered in oven until cooked. Shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. Serve on bed of lettuce. Another way is to just boil them and when they turn bright red they are cooked. For the dipping sauce, melt butter and add garlic and oregano in butter and let cook until sizzles.

I have actually never made one at home, but when I worked at a restaurant they would boil them, but I have had grilled lobster tail that was really good as well. I think that would probably be the easiest way to do it and know that you are cooking it enough and not over cooking it. Best of luck to you on cooking it, it should cook really fast so keep an eye on it no matter how you decide to cook it.
