How do you spend your weekends?

I get to spend my weekend only during Sundays, because we still have work on Saturday morning. So on Sunday, i really spend it well. In the morning my husband and i would go to church. After that, we would buy groceries and would sometimes eat snacks at the mall, then he will report to his work. Left alone at home, i would do my pedicure, watch my favorite programs and read the bible. Sometimes, after the mass, i would travel 1 30 minute ride to my parents. The rest of the day until late noon will be spent with my parents and siblings. I would be back at the house before evening and would spend it preparing my things for the office the next day. I really love my weekend because i get to unwind from a week long work at the office. I guess, not all of you are working yet, but could you share how you spend your weekends too?

My weekends are full with household chores because the whole weekdays are spent with work, work and work.I manage my own business and come home late so the chores are reserved on weekends.I also make time to cook foods that i crave for during the week. I hear mass, then go shopping!!!LOL. I am single and no kids to worry so i can spend the whole day shopping. It is also my way to de-stress from work loads.

So who says being single is lonely? I envy you because you have yourself only to shop for!

Don't worry, your man will come when you least expect it. Just keep on praying for it and it will be given at HIS own time.

Well, weekend is most busy for moms like me since all of my children are home. My two elder children stay in boarding house in Manila and Quezon City which is near their place of work and every weekend they will go home to our residence in Laguna. So you just can imagine that I have to prepare the day's food for everybody unlike during weekdays, I only cook for dinner, the whole I was left alone at home since my husband is in the office and my two other children are in school. We get to bond every weekend, going to the supermarket together, shopping, going to church or sometimes dine. It was really a busy day for me during weekends.

Truly Sunday is the weekend we are so busy, because it is the time when the family are all at home. That way, we as mothers get to cook our best, so everybody could partake and enjoy our cooking. In addition, Sunday is the bonding time for the famly.

Well, since I am lucky enough to work M-F I have the weekends off, and it is nice. I work Swing and my husband works days so weekends are the time we get to spend together just relaxing and enjoying each others company. Usually we sleep in on Saturday and then he makes us Waffles and Eggs for breakfast when we decide to get up, and then we go do something Fun, or buy groceries, etc. and then usually come home and relax, sometimes watch a movie and just enjoy. Sundays are church days. Depending what is going on for the day as in how many services we have that day and if friends want to get together we are gone a couple of hrs, and then come home and relax, and I get on myLot, etc. or we have to find things to do in between Church services to save a little on gas. Now with it being Friday again, I am definately looking forward to the weekend.

I usually spend my time with my son. We do some arts like painting, coloring or writing. Play with board games like snakes and ladders. Read his books. Sometimes, when my husband brings home his laptop, we play computer games. We also sometimes watch cartoons together. Most of my time is spent on my son since we hardly devote enough time for him on work days. When I am not busy with my son, what I do for myself on a weekend at home is reading romantic novels in bed.

nice to know that. You are so lucky, you still have time to read those romantic books. Me, i have outgrown them and have no more time to do so.

I just spend time with my family, watch tv and listen to music. Starting now with my new job it looks like I'm going to be working every weekend.

So your weekend will be a working weekend after all. Maybe you should just do your work in a relaxing manner. In lieu of you weekend , for sure you will have your day off from work.

Honestly, I wish I did more on the weekends, but I'm so tired from a long week of work that all I want to do is be a couch potato. I figure that that is going to change once I have children, but right now, I want to enjoy my free time and do nothing!

Yes, enjoy it in any way you would like it spent. By the time comes that you will have your own family, your hands will be full in entertaining not only yourself but your family on weekends.

I usually spend my weekends with my family. Of course the normal routine would be to go to church and pray. Have lunch or dinner with family. Play with my nephews and niece and spend time with my loved one.

Weekend for me is more household chores. Since I'm working the whole week, Saturday is my only time to work at home. Cleaning almost every part of the house, which usually I wanted to finish within a day, for I have to attend to other things on the next day. Saturday is more tiring than the usual office routine. Sunday for me is definitely my rest day. I started my Sunday by going to church, I'm doing this religiously, after then, I just rest until mid-day. After lunch if I'm in the mood to go out, with my family of course, or just to my friend's house and if we feel the same like wanting to watch movie, then we go..if not, we just stay in the house having fun in watching DVDs or singing in videoke. At night, I spend an hour or two in reading some books and go to bed early to prepare for the next day tasks in the office. That's how I enjoy my weekends.

We are very much alike in spending our weekends. I would usually do the cleaning on Saturday after lunch , because on Saturday we report on half day only. I would end it by taking a nap. Sunday is spent very much like you too. Have a nice day!

Oh I love weekend and so grateful for it after long hours of work 5 days in a row. We don't really plan on how to spend time in weekend, but we usually go out. I have a 1 year old and sometimes me and my husband take her to the park, or go to the malls for grocery shopping with us It's fun! However, it's now rainy season in my country, so we don't go out very often (even if we do, it's without her). It's relaxing to spend time at home in a rainy day, especially when playing with your child

Weekend spent with family is really fun. Be it in the house only, as long as the family is into it, already completes the weekend.

I spend my weekends at my province. I visit my siblings there to see how they're doing. I also go there to spend sometime with my girlfriend.

I am a working student, so usually I have classes on Saturdays. Every Sundays, I either let time pass by while I am sleeping, or spending time in the kitchen and cooking meals for my loved ones. I would love to have no classes every Saturday so I can spend more time in my bed!
