Do you like romantic movies? What was the most memorable one you can remember. I think Somewhere In TIme with Jane Seymour and the late Christopher Reeves. I also like Murphy's Romance, The Notebook, Penny Serenade, Terminator 1, and Pretty Woman. Name a new one. What one have you seen lately?

Yes, The Sound of Music is a wonderful film. Pretty Woman is always good to watch. I can't handle Titanic. Cleopatra with Liz Taylor or older?

One of my All time favorites will be Sleepless In Seattle. I even had an Email address with Sleepless97 back then as well. But I do enjoy a good Romantic movie. Some of my others that I enjoy are The Notebook, You've Got Mail, Pretty Woman, Gone With The Wind, just to name a few, but I am sure there are a lot more.

Hi, there!
I love the movie "The Notebook". It really made my tears run down my face. It was so touching. It's really good to watch romantic movies because it can give you the idea of true love even though you know that it rarely exist nowadays.

I guess it's a blokey thing that I am not really into romantic movies, I am more the fantasy, sci-fi and horror enthusiast, however there is an exception. So in answer to your question in no doubt in my mind the answer would be Titanic! Ssssh don't tell anyone as I have my Wolfie image to uphold but I have even shed a few tears, it's actually one of my all time favourite films, mind you it does feature my favourite actor Leonardo Di Caprio, it would still have the same fascination for me as it's based on truth and when I need a cry I will watch it, lost count the amount of times I've seen it.

Ah, Wolfie. Mums the mood. My granddaughter has a soft spot for The Titanic also and she is usually a horror fan. If you like him you may like The Gangs of New York. He and Cameron Diaz are in it. Great movie!

Titanic is one of my favorite movie. I love watching it again and again. There are lots of favorite movies. I like some Hindi movies which are very romantic. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of my favorite movie. I think it is always great to watch some romantic movies because most of the movies will provide a happiness mood after watching and also makes a person more romantic.

The Titanic was my granddaughter's favorite and she used to watch it over and over. I have a problem with water and watching the two in the water was more than I could stand. Especially over and over again. I love alot of the romance and can certainly see why it a favorite.

A Walk to Remember...I think the person that did The Notebook did it too. Time Traveler's Wife was pretty good for a romantic movie too. Gotta watch that one close to keep up with it though..lol...stuff like greying in his hair signals his age and what time period he is from...weird but interesting.

I know! I usually try to stay away from the tear jerkers but my 17 year old loves them! I am always pulled in. It starts with me passing by and seeing little scenes and then I end up on the couch with her wiping my eyes. I'll tell you another one that gets me is that Pearl Harbor..goodness gracious.

The Notebook would have to be the best for me. I would love to read the book. I should check out the local library for it...or find a used one on Amazon.ca.

I adored Pretty Woman, it's one of my all time favourites :)
I like action movies that have a romantic undertone too like The Last Samurai and Blood Diamond. There's a whole romantic thread in those movies that compliments rather than detracts from the main story and kind of completes the overall effect of the movie as a whole. (I think anyway lol).
What about that Richard Gere and Diane Lane one as well that was fairly recent and I just can't remember the name of it. I can see them on the beach but can't remember the name of the film... I thought they were great though.

Was it Nights in Rodanthe? That was out in 2008. Had her in it. I like her pretty well but not him. Only watch Pretty WOman because Julia is in it.

I hate that! I don't know why I don't care for Richard but I don't. Julia makes the Pretty Woman movie anyway. He is just along for the ride.

Hi Celtic - yes that was the one!
It's awful when something is on the tip of your tongue and you just can't quite grasp it isn't it lol?
I think they have as much chemistry as the Richard Gere / Julia Roberts partnership in Pretty Woman - mind you I have to confess I do like Richard Gere as well as Julia :)

I love 51st date by Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. I don't get tired of watching it.
I love watching comedy-love stories.
I like the story where somebody would make you fall-in-love everyday of your life since the woman had a head injury and forgets everything that happened after her accident. I just love feel good movies.

I like Ever After too! It was a cinderella story.
Have you seen her in Never Been Kissed? It is a feel good movie too that I like.
It was the story of an ugly duckling.
OMG! I noticed that I made a mistake on the title.
It should be 50 First dates!
