Am I such a bad user here?

Although you have a 'MyLot Reputation', it isn't revealed until your User Rating reaches 100. You just have a few more discussions to respond to before you get your 'star'. To understand what it means and how it works, read the FAQs under 'Discussion Rating System' and 'User Rating and MyLot Reputation'.

Don't blame yourself my friend, actually when I was new here my thinking was the same with you, I've seen all of them have colorful stars besides their user name, they can put images or emotion in the messages, can copy paste the messages. But when I read carefully the TOS and FAQ including the guidelines here I realized what are those. So the stars indicates for your quality, active, polite and rated from your discussion and responses. My suggestion is just go on, make more friends, make vissible to them, be polite and have a quality responses. Welcome to mylot... see you around

Don't give up. As I've noticed, you're just a newbie here based on the number right after your name. Meaning you just have hundred times participating in a discussions including posts, if any. Stars are gained based on how long you have been active here in mylot. Don't worry, you will soon have that star. Just keep on participating and posting, and not just posts, make quality posts for you to earn reputations and star. Just keep active. Good luck and happy mylotting.

I guess i am too late since i can see you have a star beside your name now. For me a star don't matter much. I am here to share and learn at the same time but earnings is least of my concern. So just keep on posting and making lively discussions then. Soon you will see a 10 star beside your name!

Hi Octav, Stars denotes ratings given by fellow citizens here in mylot. Good topics, helpful insights, inspiring messages usually get a good rating. If your post is rated positively, then you get a best response, eventually a star if best responses accumulates. I notice you have a low number of posts. Try answering a lot or starting your own discussions. Be careful of the topics you share as provided in the rules section to get positive responses from us fellow citizens. The stars will only appear after you pass the 100 threshold. Meaning 100 discussion either response or discussion. The number in turn will be your rating based on rating by others.

Relax, stars doest matter here and it does not say that if you don't have star you are a bad user. You do not need to be so active here to earn that star.

If I remember right it takes a while to get a star. I do see one by your name now. I don't think it was a good idea to do them but others think it's great. Good luck here.

Actually at first I am also very desperate to get my first star.It was a long process for me before I can even get my star.I really participate everyday.I log in and do everything that I can do here everyday.But everything I did paid off when I finally got my first star.It is very fulfilling and I feel so happy. Getting your first star is quite difficult coz you really need to have a good reputation here in mylot.Try to do the all the activities that you can do here in mylot like starting a new discussion or commenting on others post.Try to login in mylot atleast once a week.Sooner or later you'll have a colorful star placed beside your name here in mylot.

No, you are not a bad guy, just do 3 posts more and when you will reach at 100, you will be awarded by a star which shows your reputation, if you are good at mylot the high number shows so wait a little more and soon you will get it.

Haha, I guess all of was here wish that we had more time to be active on myLot. Actually, I don't have a star either, but that's no big deal. Just try to find 15 minutes a day to log on to myLot and answer a few questions, start some discussions and comment to other people's discussions. That will surely earn you a colorful star in no time. :)

Don't get demoralized and don't blame yourself ..actually sometimes it happened that discussion starter starts the discussion but don't rate the response and don't comment back to the response.....So you just do your pert and 5 is not a bad start...you have got the green star man..look at mine..it's colorless ..lol
