I think Bayern and my brother are the main reason which made me love football. When I was a child I was not really interested in football. But my brother made me play football with him, and because I hated being beaten by him almost every time, I started practicing alone and also started watching football. Then, when I once read in the newspaper that Bayern has lost to Dortmund I fell in love with this name Bayern and started searching for this club. And because I attended German kindergarten, I started watching the German national team at the 1998 World Cup and I liked Michael Tarnat a lot. Since he played for Bayern, I started watching Bayern games from the next season, which ended with the dramatic final between Bayern and Manchester United.
So this is the story of me being interested in football.

Yes, Michael Tarnat was a left back, who has also played as a left midfielder. And yes, he had a very good shot, scoring wonderful goals. Yes, the name of Bayern stuck to my mind, without knowing who they are.

Hi,
Yes I like football very much. I played football in my school time and college time and was mid forward always.
I love football because it is a game of all players, each player is involved in it. Unlike cricket where I think only the person who is batting is enjoys. In football all players of both team are actively involved all the time and enjoy the game. This the first and last reason why I love football.

Yes, I am from India.
Everyone is going mad for cricket here. But I like football. It is a team game where each player enjoys and no one sit idle as in cricket when one team is having batting, only two players are in ground for batting.

I love the finnese of the game. Unlike American football which is a joke because that's all about how hard the gladiators can hit their opponent, football, soccer, is about real athleticism.
There's always something going on and it a game of real skill, not let's kill the guy with the ball.
No body inspired me to love football. I just have very good taste in sports.

Thank you. I hope you're having a great day too. No need to be sorry about a late response time. Sometimes it takes me weeks to respond to a discussion.
Better late than never I suppose.
Take care!!

I came to love foot ball when the Philippines team started to compete in Asian games.
I was just curious how the game is played.
Then you had a discussion about the Indonesian team.
The more I got curious and there I have learned after watching the game between Philippines and Indonesia teams that there is excitement in this sport.
I use to watch Beckham only before but for the sake of sighting how he looks.
But now I am more inclined to watch for the sport

Football is very attractive and easy to play. Children, women, men can play it. And we can play everywhere we like.

I know why... It is the passion when watching football.
Nowhere in other sports the supporters are very passionate. Everybody where their favorite team jersey when watching football doesn't matter where they watch. Stadium, Bars, Coffee Shop or even at home we supporters will wear our team jersey when watching them playing.
The person that inspire me to love more about football is Paolo Maldini. He shows that even a defender can be an elegant player. He shows it by been awarded a life time achievement award.

For me like any other kid, it was the stories of Pele that got me interested. Then I saw the 1986 world cup and Diego Maradona and got addicted to the game. In 1990, Lothar Mathaeus caught my imagination and since then I have been following the game closely.
Cheers!

I love to play football and I have loved it my whole life. One of the main reasons is because my dad comes from a footballing country and has played football his entire life. His love of football has rubbed off on me. I also love to play football because it is really fun and it is one of my goals, as well as it keeps me in shape.

I like soccer because it's such a fun game, really fast paced and great to watch. Plus my favorite player is Didier Drogba and he's so good which makes me want to watch the games even more.
