You will be certainly shock when you will see this above comment made by me, but friend think profoundly this loss against SA makes the indian player more aggressive, vigilant, etc one as many times indian team has come with good temper after a defeat and i think this will happen in UPCOMING WC also..what you think about this..?

I do not think this defeat will bring any moral in Indian team, team depends a lot on players like Sachin, Sehwag and Gambhir. This match in SA has given us a hope that Yusuf Pathan has grown up as batsman and showed the world that he can bat well on pitches in SA. Pathan most of the big innings came in India and first time I saw him playing a Kapil Dev Innings type which Kapil played in World Cup 1983 against Zimbabwe. This innings of Pathan did take Indian team to close of winning the match comfortable but unfortunately he got out at wrong time. Whatever, Raina, Dhoni, Yuvaraj has to improve their batting form. If not Indian middle order will struggle in the World Cup as well..

I am also thinking like you Siliguri. With the defeat Indians have received from the Proteas I am sure India will do miracles in the world cup.In the 2003 world cup also India received a defeat from Newzealand and what happens in the world cup?Indian team came in the final under Ganguly's great captiancy.Who can forget also? Also after the defeat in the 2007 world cup,Indian team also lifted the first ever T-20 world cup and became the champion team. These all incidents show that India performs well after their defeat. This time also India will repeat the history.Anyway this defeat from South Africa will bring the "high held" Indian players to the ground and will help to realize their weakness.
Good Luck team India....

No, I don't think this will have any impact on the performance of the team in world cup at all. In fact, India played well against South Africa in all the formats. Test, they drew the series, won the T20 match and was leading 2-1 in the ODI series. There was still no clear winner until the last match of the tour where they still came close to South Africa's target from out of no where...
This is the best performance by India team on South African soil in all these years and should be proud of it.
Moreover, India played without their 4 first choice players namely, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautham Gambhir and Praveen Kumar. Whereas, South Africa were only out of their premium batsman, Kallis and yet India matched South Africa in all the departments throughout the series.
Plus the conditions over there were really really different compared to what it is in sub-continent so, there's no way this series is having a slightest impact nor reflecting on their performance in the grand-stage in sub continent.

well the thing is there was no winner in the fifth odi except for one yusuf pathan.
take him out of the equation,it would be an south african victory and a humiliating defeat for india but what yusuf's innings did is make the south african believe that even if u get 6 of the top order wickets, you still have to go through a huge mountain for a victory.
as for india, their woes is the opening which will be corrected with the arrival of the trio and not much pressure on the middle order as it did in south africa.
so india has a lot of positives to take into the world cup considering their negatives like rohit, vijay are not in the squad.lol
so over all,the series loss is indeed good for indian cricket.

No loss is good for the morale of the team.
I understand your point of view. You are implying that Indians can learn from their mistakes. But, if you had heard Dhoni in the post series presentation, he said " but conditions in World Cup will be different from here". This is a clear case of not taking the loss in its perspective.
The only good from the last series is that Indians are more battle hardened now. A tough series is a good preparation for the world Cup.
But i hope that you are correct & i am wrong for the sake of Team India
