I think that I am also a follower just like you. I more comfortable to follow someone rather than try to motivate others. Though I don't allow people to use me as a doormat, I think it just comes from my personality to be a follower than a leader. I am more of 'blending in' with others and I can say that I am a good follower to all of the leader=people I have encountered and worked with.

I don't set out to become a leader but i often find myself in that position. I haven't been one to settle for being a follower. i don't have to go along with the crowd to be happy. i like to follow my own path. if anybody wants to come along, they are welcome to join me.

I'm not a follower nor a leader (though some ppl do follow my lead)..I USE TO be a follower (for YRS) because I was such a timid person until something happened in my mid 20s and my life took a major turn and I broke out of my shell. Since then I've prefered to walk to the beat of my own drum whether ppl like it or not and I'm much happier this way

i must say that there are really people who are born to lead. leadership is a skill that is innate to an individual, if its being developed - eventually that person is an effective leader.
being a leader is not a joke. great responsibilities lie on his shoulder. it requires strong personality, right judgment and maintaining a good reputation that other people will follow you.
i tried to be a leader also, but i fail. maybe because i'm too afraid to handle big responsibilities and having a weak personality.
so i usually end up being a follower.
maybe, you can try to discover if you have that talent to become a leader and try to develop it.

Hi mikkopogiv!
I'm happy to see someone who is like me! Well, I myself prefer being a follower than a leader! Its always better to follow someone! Well, not necessarily someone who is in front of us, but definitely a person whom we look up for in our life!
I'm a follower of the great MAHATMA GANDHI and though I don't follow much of him, I do make sure I try to whenever I can! It feels good to learn things from these kind of people and walk their way in life! :)
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers!
