i love to dance also, but i never had the chance to enroll myself to a formal school for dancing.
i learn dancing through joining dance club in our school. every year, i see to it to audition for the dance troupe in our school because that's the only venue i know to develop my dancing skills without much sacrificing my studies since its still part of school activities. from then on, i learn a lot of dancing styles and moves.
i guess, at 19, its not yet late to learn dancing. if you're really serious with your passion, you'll find ways to make attain your desire.
you may join dance classes now if you have much time. or maybe, you can just watch dance videos at home and try to imitate their steps.
happy dancing!

I can't see anything bad with starting right now. You like it, so what are you waiting for?!!! Go ahead and live your dreams .
More, at 19 years old you're still very young and with a long life before you, and you may learn it very well if you really want to. Or even if you were 40, why not?
Maybe you, at some age, can't go for a carrer on it, but dancing for joy and fun would be great, just because you LIKE it.
So you now have the money to pay for a class, I say that you should go and take it and enjoy what you like.

You're never too old to learn to dance! My hubby and I taught ourselves how to dance for our wedding. We used an instructional video and practiced in our living room for 6 months! It was a lot of fun. :-) I know dance classes can be pricey but it is worth it to learn how to dance and for the fun you'll have!

If you're just interested in it, I mean you're not going to be a dancer, age is never a problem. I don't know whether it is necessary for you to attend a dancing class. I'm afraid that it's just a brief period of enthusiasm. So make up your mind later.

hello mayur!
You can never be too old to start learning to dance. I loved dancing since i was a kid but since there was no available dance school near our home, i had never been able to enroll in any dance school. I wanted to be a ballerina then. However, fate has other plans for me. Although i was a constant member of our school's dance troupe since my elementary days, i really did not perform publicly as often as i would have like. Then when i got employed, things started to change. My colleagues and i joined a dance competition opened to government workers only and we joined for fun. A jazz number is what we performed. We won the competition and since then, i've been dancing like mad. I danced almost all types of dancing. From folkdances or ethnic dances, ballroom dances, modern ethnics, modern jazz, belly dancing and contemporary modern dances, i made no exception. I am now 37 years old and i still dance. I would not stop dancing until i am old and gray. I just love dancing!
You have to go for it. You can never be too old to dance.

It's not too late. I've seen people who started even older than you are. Except for Ballet where it is advisable to start at the very young age, I think as long as you have the interest and the determination, you can do well in class. I like dancing a lot when I was your age. I was poor and couldn't afford to go to the dance school. Eventually I lost my grace and rhythm because I didn't do much dancing when I was married. Now that I have 2 girls who like dancing very much, I tried my best to send them to the dance school. They do jazz and hiphop. For me, if I had the chance to go back dancing again, I would. So get your dancing shoes now and hit the floor. It's a kind of enjoyment that is good for your health and figure. It's a good discipline too.
Blessings!

I am 34, i wish that i had learned to dance many years ago. You are still young and so it is never too late to start dancing. It seems so relaxing to watch and i wish i was able to do it. Go for it, start to learn, it is a great thing and i am sure you will learn and also have fun. If you have the money and you have the time then do it, it seems that it is something that you are keen to do, it will also keep you fit. There are so many positives to dancing so i hope you do start to learn and i hope you enjoy it. Have fun..

you're 19 now. it would be a shame for you when you're 39 to look back and regret not following your desires. then it might be too late. especially when you're choices involve experiences rather than things, take the opportunity to have the experience.

you can never be to old to do or learn something new. if dancing is what you like then dancing is what you should do, its your money anyway and it makes you happy. and if you're wondering if you'll be good at it a year from now,we can never tell but with hard work, perseverance and passion for what you are doing, i think you'll be pleased with yourself in the end. happy dancing!

As long you live and as long you want to try everything then there is no limitations with age.If you think you are interested about dancing then go for it.It's never too late if you like something and want it.As long you can do it then do it my friend.Life is short then try to explore everything that you can.

It is never too late to learn how to dance. I dont think that there is an age limit in dancing. You just have to decide that you really want to learn, then go and study dancing. Some people even hire personal dance instructors, especially old people who want to learn ballroom dancing, just for them to be able to move in the dance floor. Besides, dancing is a good form of exercise, too. I started dacing when I was little but I did not have any proper training. I guess dancing is innate to me and I just developed it further through years of dancing and practice. Nowadays though, I dont have time for dancing because I have two jobs. However, given a chance to dance, say in our company party, I'd really set my feet on the dance floor. ^__^

Actually, you can start learning how to dance at any age.
Dancing is for everyone. As i have observed , a lot of older people are just learning how to dance those ballroom dances just when they have retired. Because that was the only time when they have all the time in the world to learn it.
So don't despair. . .just enroll in dancing and before you knew it, you have outdanced them all.
Happy Mylotting!

Hello mayur I think that being 19 and wanting to learn how to dance is a good thing. I know many women who at the age of 40 and above started to learn ball room dancing as this was a fad in our country a few years ago. So live your dreams, go on and be a great dancer!

dancing can be taught at any age. Dancing is something that happens and can't be properly taught. Learning to dance is fun and makes parties more fun.
