Do you remember things from the time you were just 3?

Most people claim they never remember a thing when they were 5, which is hard for me to understand since I remember things when i was like 3. I remember my 3rd birthday because were there are 3 candles. I remember my self watching reruns of Astroboy and watching episodes of Mcguyver. I remember that my parents stopped me from from sleeping in a crib, They make me share a room with my brother who is rude because he makes the electric fan face him so he will get all the air. I remember the kids my age I use to play with in nursery. I remember the name of my nanny then. I remember my neighbors find me cute then and they pinch my cheek, now when they see me the reaction is different....LOL
I also remember my family owns a white cat then. I don't know but suddenly that cat is gone. I don't even remember that cat dying. I also remember the commercial of a movie rental shop scares me because there was a monster hand on it. I also remember I was afraid of the commercial or a soda known as "cheers golden apple" that commercial scares me because people turns to gold (body paint I guess) once they drink the soda.
I also remember I caught my nanny and my cousin making out. They told me not to tell anyone what I saw. I also remember I have an aunt that I hate because she just visit my parents to get drunk and she is very loud. I remember my grandpa playing his vinyl of Vicky Leandros so much. I remember me making "house of cards" out of my sister's cassette collection.

I do remember a few things from when I was about 3. I remember me and my mom living in a small house together and I remember almost every detail about the house. I remember her taking me to my Auntie Pat's house and I had a frog game with me to play. I remember a few things...thanks for the memories!

I dont remember what age, But I was lucked in a bathroom before too and its scary. I also remember(this one is embarrasing) when I'm around 3 to 5 years old I'm afraid to wear clothes with zippers because I accidentally zipped my foreskin. I lost the fear when I started wearing underwear.

Wow! That's amazing! I mean, can you seriously recall stuff when you were three years old? Well as for me, I can only recall as far back as when I was five. And then I thought I had a good memory haha. I didn't think other people could beat me. I mean like wow three years old? You must be very lucky then to even remember as far back as that hehe.

Really? She must be very lucky (or unlucky) to remember every single day of her life. How old is this woman now by the way and when was she discovered?

5 to 6 I think is the minimum age where people remember things the most, though there is this woman who claimed she remembers every single day of her life. Scientist were studying her because they found her case really fascinating.

I do remember some things. I remember the back yard we had. We moved shortly after my 3rd birthday so remembering that yard is pretty good I think. I remember it had a big drainage pipe back there that looked like a big tunnel. I wanted to go in to it really bad, but my mom told me not to. I tried to sneak a couple of times but my mom caught both times. My brother did manage to sneak in there which made me want to do it that much more. He told me if you went all the way through it there was a farm on the other side with horses, I don't know if that was true or not but I wanted to see those horses so bad.

That is heck of a curiority, speaking of tunnels, When I was 5, I mistaken the fountain at the church as a swimming pool. Its like my first time I saw a "swimming pool" upclose in person because I only saw them on Tv so i want to experience how to swim, That fountain is where the church's mascot which is a turtle lives. I grew up seeing at turtle everytime I go to church. But now the turtle is gone, A new pastor took over the church, he decided to renovate it, he gets rid of the fountain and turned it into a zen garden. He gave the turtle to the security guard because the guard promised he will have it as pet but he ate the turtle instead, I was so mad to that guard because that I see that turtle since I was 3.

I was two going on three and I remember my first airplane ride. It was a small plane (yellow) and my mom, my sister (a few months old) and wrapped in a blue blanket, the pilot and I took off at my grandpa and grandma's farm. It was snowing, so the only way we could take off was on a long, large pile of manure. (The heat from the manure kept the snow from building up.) We landed a few miles away on an old pasture road, but it had been plowed, so we were able to land. My mom says there's no way I could remember this...I must have seen pictures. There is one picture of that plane, my grandma and my mom, but the pictures are in black and white. And I know the color of the plane, my sister's blanket and other details that that one picture sure don't tell. After that, most of my memories are when I was four and older.

awww I was Jealous, I was like 9 the first time I get to ride an air plain, I wish I was able to ride an air-plain during the times were my ride is still considered free. It really makes me wonder why most parents cant believe it when their kid remember something about their pre-schooler toddler years. There even things I remember that they deny to remember.

I remember the first day my family moved into the home that i would grow up and would be in the family for 39 years afterwards. each room filled with boxes in the center that seemed like skyscrapers to me. My mom and everyone else in my family said i could not remember because i was only 22 months old. Who can figure?

wow you remember things when you were 22 months old? for some reason, I kinda remember the feeling of being carried and lifted by an adult. It feels great when you are being carried, specially when walking. I also remember when my niece bit me in the ear(yes I'm a 3 year old uncle, we were born in the same year) her bite marks is remains.

My memory goes back even further than that. Ever since i was young I always remember the face of a black dog really close to mine and as if i were looking up at it. For the first 25 years of my life I would get this vision almost like a flashback. One day we were sitting around my mom's on Xmas eve and I shared this with my mom. I asked her if she remembers me ever having trouble or something with a big black dog. She almost went into shock. She told me that when i was about 8 months old, she took me and my siblings to visit the old country and layed me on the lawn in the shade on a blanket while the adults sat around chating, and the family chihuahua where we were staying came and licked my face. She yelled because she thought the dog was attacking me. She just couldn't fathom me remembering that and said i must have heard someone talk about it. And by the way, Astro boy was my favorite cartoon with felix the cat coming in a close second and courageous cat and minute mouse following close behind. And who can forget Crazy Cat and Ignat throwing the brick of love?

yes i do remember some memories of my childhood, maybe as early...roughly 3 to 5 years old. i remember our old house, when our uncle would read us a magazine with a big african elephant on the cover, i remember how i pulled by cousin out of his stroller so i can sit it, how we hid ourselves to a neighbors gate when we play hide and seek, when my grandparents would tag me along when they go to baclaran church riding lrt train and when staying and sleeping in my grandparents house whenever my granny would visit and fetched me in our house. yes it's possible remembering those things happened in our early years.

Memories are a big part of what we have as we get older. Childhood memories can be some of the most precious ones we can recall. Sometimes an event or another memory triggers a memory from the toddler years. I can still remember things from that age and sometimes they just seem like a dream.

I actually remember less in my teen years and some of the people I met during those times I dont recognize anymore. I remember much more in my childhood, both sweet and bad memories. Highschool is a bad experience so I give my best to forget it though I have friends in highschool its my darkest days. sometimes something irrelevant comes back to my mind.
