Here's another one of my projects. I've been working on her for about a month. She had been brought through the process of modeling and texturing then going back to modeling again and then re-painting the textures, blah, blah, blah... I don't know if you guys will understand the other processes. Anyway, I couldn't upload the highest quality as well as the other photos of her progress but you can check it out here: http://jdigitalize.weebly.com/leila.html (The link is a reference to a higher quality images). So, let me hear what you guys have to say.

the program he used is called Blender. And to learn it you have to be especially patient, it takes at least a year to get accustomed to the different techniques and even longer to master them xD That's why most people give up on it...

hi frontvisions,
that was great and I could not help relating it to what I saw in the movie they made - Bolt. I admire the creativity. You mentioned GIMP on the link. That is cool and makes the task more complex I believe as many say working with Photoshop is easier than GIMP.

Yeah, Photoshop can definitely make your life easier editing images but I'd like to keep my pipeline freeware-based. Plus, I've tried downloading Photoshop in a torrent site but it came with a virus that caused me to reset my laptop, losing every single work I've done. Hassle! Thanks for your comment.

GIMP, I found out after seeing your creativity, is a freeware (thanks to the GPL and opensource). The only thing missing is a proper documentation and its acceptance in the Professional world. If both are met then Photoshop is not going to stand anywhere in the competition as it does occupy a lot of resources... and so can be used only on higher config pcs. But GIMP is available for Linux flavors too.

Leila looks like a Japanese to me, the one who works in the countryside and takes care of the children. She has strength of character, a good head on her shoulders despite the domesticity she is confined with. When called, she is the type to responds and rise to the occasion.
I like your Leila...

Nice imagination. You can be a writer, you know. I don't even have a character for her. The name Leila was even just a suggestion. If it wasn't suggested I would've called her CG Girl #2 or 3d Girl #2. Thanks anyway for the comment! Happy MyLotting!
