I'm trying to establish a credit history. In your opinion, which credit cards are the best ones and why?

Hi. If you can avoid getting a credit card, do so. Interest charges and other financial fees are high. Personal loans offered by some banks have interests that are lower than those of credit cards. But there are some benefits that you can derive from the use of credit cards especially if you're always paying the full amount due per month. Anyway, if you're really decided to get yourself a credit card, try to find one that offers the lowest interest charges, a good rewards program, free for the first year with no obligation to renew and globally accepted. I have a Citibank and an HSBC card. I would recommend HSBC :)

NONE!!! Credit cards are so scary and totally unnecessary. I would avoid them at all costs. If you are looking for a credit history to buy a house you can have your landlord make a statement that you pay on time and when. You can also use your power/electric bill and other monthly bills to prove you are in good standing in terms of making payments. Be careful with credit cards!
