Hi All,
Recently there was talk about Kochi approaching Ganguly to sign for their franchisee.
However, Ganguly seems to be ignorant of such situation and has rubbished these claims.
Also, few days back, the Kochi team had denied these links to Ganguly.
It was all false news created by media.
Will we see Ganguly in IPL 4? Where will all this lead to?

If Ganguly is as attractive player as that of Sachin or Sehwag, then he would have been picked up by any franchise by now. If he isn't that shows Ganguly is not playing any international cricket on first place and this is disadvantage. Second thing is that he is not quick runner between the wickets and great fielder as well. Like Dravid and Laxman if he would have played test cricket then Ganguly might have been selected by any franchises. So, I do not think Ganguly will be playing this IPL4. I wonder why these rumors would be created like Ganguly was approached by Kochi franchise to play for their team. If the Kochi franchises are so interested in Ganguly they would have bought Dade for less price in auctions. Why would any franchise go outside the auction and pay a huge amount to a retire player. It is all the rubbish rumors.

I think it is good for the kochi team to take Ganguli. They doesnt look a good team right now. Any way taking ganguly is only going to help them. Currently they have to make jayawardhana as there captain. Also they dont have a good opener along with parthiv patel. So i think it is good that they take ganguly.Gnaguli's performance in the last ipl was not so bad. The only problem was his strike rate was not so high as some of other playrs. But i think he is the high scorer in kkr.I hope some one will pick ganguly and he play in the current ipl too.
