How many hours with the newspaper a day?

I spend a good hour to two reading the newspaper everyday... I feel, it gives u a picture of what is happening around the world, helps improve ur vocabulary, interesting articles that enhance ur knowledge about various things, the health section gives advice about various home remedies... But there are some people who think its a real waste of time... what's ur take on this?

I just scan the newspaper, I mostly read the features page. I prefer to watch the news on TV. I read only columns and notes from political analyst and try to find what's they think of some issues regarding government and economy. Other than this, I don't last an hour reading it!

I agree watching news on the tv is a good idea, but they really don't cover a lot of these small articles that u'd find in a newspaper... besides, the health section is nowhere featured so vastly on television today...

I am subscribing to a daily newspaper published in the city where I live. Yes, I like reading the newspaper every morning every day. That's my way of keeping informed and updated with the latest developments in the city, country, and internationally too. I spend some good time reading the Business Section to see what the latest is.

I only read the newspaper in the weekends, I simply do not have the time to do it during the week. Then I usually read it for an hour or so I guess.

I don't think it is a waste of time, but I don't use to read the newspaper, just because I don't like.
If I want to get the "picture of what is happening around the world" I just turn on the TV and watch the news.
Then if I want to read some important opinions or advice, then I'd read the newspaper, but not for other news.
