I was at In-N-Out Burger and I was freaking out. In general, I reward all decent replies with a +, just so you know.

I would never forget that day, i was at work at the time, they weren't any trains and I walk miles in heels to get a bus to get home, it was a mess.

I was in bed and my sister came in to wake me up and tell me. I was in shock and couldn't believe it. --- --- --- "I certainly think Britney Spears is the devil. The way she projects herself and the fact that she is so obviously vacuous. I think it's such a shame that she became so influential to very small children." -- MORRISSEY --- --- ---

It was my day off and i was sleeping in. My best friend was up early with her daughter and phoned me to tell me to turn on ESPN, that we were going to war. The rest was just a blur...i was glued to my TV all day trying to figure out what happened and trying to make sense of it. I still haven't made sense of it...I probably never will.

I was sleeping in my bedroom, my mom was watching the news downstairs, she came running into my room and told me what was going on and what she was seeing in news, but I thought she was just playing and was trying to wake me up so I would get up from bed. So I told her I will check it out later and I want to sleep, but she kept telling me to get up and I FINALLY got up and told her okkkk fineee lets see, and omg it was true, she wasn't lying and I wasnt dreaming. I didn't even brush or had breakfast, I was just trying to see what in the world just happpened, to me it seemed like it was a movie, a fiction, but it slowly started hitting me that this was real life, it was reality, and I could not believe it. I couldn't believe that someone would actually do such a thing like that, that is INSANE! who would take the whole plane down and crash, with the pilot piloting the plaine in it..that just sounds CRAZY!!

September 11 was just another ordinary day at school, I was attending Progress Village Middle Magnet School of the Arts in Tampa, over 2 years after moving from my native Passaic County, New Jersey. I was in a language arts class, possibly reading a short story. The PA broke the news about the Twin Towers being hit by a plane each and collapsing, and as someone who used to live close to New York City, it hit me hard. Not that I lost someone I know in the attacks, but I felt so terrible for the Tri-State Area. Also, my family and I planned to go to the towers, but the news shattered that dream. Hearing the news at school, a thousand miles from New Jersey, made me wish that I should have been in class there than in a state where anoles run the place. But it made me a lot wary on travel, as well as a much prouder American!
