Smoking while breast-feeding

My wife is a smoker... she had quit during her pregnancy, but is getting into the habit again. She usually has a smoke immediately after she finishes feeding our son so there is a gap between his next feed. Is it alright to smoke while breast-feeding?

I don't think it is okay...because even if there is a gap, your son is around...and also...the nicotine would go into her blood, right? I think the best thing would be to talk to her doctor about how she can get a smoke and not affect the baby.
