All I really need is to be able to make calls and send text messages. I have an older samsung flip phone that I've been using for about 3 years now, and even through the countless times that I've dropped the phone, it still continues to work just as I need it to.
Phone technology has improved immensely over the last decade - you can do just about anything on some of the newer phones. I'm wondering if all these new gadgets are really necessary? Sure, they are cool, but are we becoming too dependent in our cell phones? Are the prices of these high-tech new phones really worth it?
At the very least, could we not do without them?

I only have an average cellphone. I wouldn't spend much for a cellphone. As long as I can text and call, any model would be fine with me. With all the features that a new phone can have, they will definitely cost you a lot of bucks. It is not only the model that is pricey, even the services will cost you much. I don't want to spend my hard earned money just paying for my telephone bills.

the new gadgets are becoming necessary because more employers are trying to forced technology into their business and we as staff have to comply. today the only means of receiving instructions from he boss is via email and the requirement is some gadgets that will receive email on the spot. so for some it is not necessary but for some it is. happy mylotting
