Hello everybody, I started this discussion in search for your opinion on Atletico's transfer policy. Nowadays, their policy is that there will not be transfers out no matter the bid. They have several players that are wanted by other clubs such as Sergio Aguero, Diego Forlan and Diego Godin. Atletico has rejected bid over 50 million dollars for any of them!
Is this wise to do? Rejecting any bid no matter the money? Is there any chance players be upset because of this, not allowing them to move into other clubs?
What's your opinion?

There is nothing wrong with them rejecting all the bids. The club have every right to hold onto their best players. And best players are good based on the interest that they are generating. At least, it goes to show that the chairman is not there just for the profits. He wanted Atletico Madrid to do well. The last thing they would one is for the club to turn into a feeder one and develop good players only to sell them and benefit their rivals.

I think that is a right move for any club that wants sustained success. Cashing in on players can show some money in the bank but cannot get sustained success to a club. So I do not see much wrong in this approach. Of course, if the players are upset, let them go through their contract and then move on!!
Cheers!

i think it`s not wrong...
if a clubs want to success, they must sacrifice..ya, get much money like the offer is interesting, but i understand if atletico wants to their best player still stay in atletico madrid...
forlan and aguerro is still needed by atletico and the sacrifice for atletico is they dont get much money

I think it's wrong because they may make lots of money in the transfer market if they decide to make transfers during the winter.
