Is addiction right in some cases??

Addiction....we always take this word as a negative sense.but is it really right?? I think in some case addiction is correct..let me clear it.. If u do something good and everyday practice it become the habit of u and now you addict to to id...so i think for this case it is right...Let come the point for smoking..i know that smoking is bad and ya it is bad..but if someone start smoking to heal the pain of his heart and sometimes it works to remove his pain ....so it is right for the particular moment....what u guyz think...please share with me
