Do you believe that 12/21/2012 will be the end of the world, the end of time, or any other catastrophic event?
I say that it will be the end of this age because the exactness of the Maya Calendar, along with so many other collaborating events all point to this day as a great day of
significance for our galaxy, solar system and our planet.
I also believe it is the beginning of a "new" age where humanity is freed from control and oppression. 2012 begins a major evolution of who we are.
Sounds like a sci-fi novel doesn't it?

I think that this date is false. There is another date, too, that is being thrown around the internet as the end of the calender date...Oct.28,2011. This year!!! It's been a pretty interesting year with all that has been going on just in the last few months, so I can only imagine what is in store for us for the rest of the year. Keep your eyes to the skies and ears to the ground. Things could potentially get rough depending on where you live this year.

If you believe in God then you will not believe this. B/c Jesus said in his word man know not the day nor hour of his return. So its truly what you believe in. So as for me no I don't believe in that at all. And like different ones have said. On Jan 1, 2000 everyone in my high school were all scared thinking the end was going to happen on that day and nothing happened. People just need to live their life right and they wouldn't have to worry about the end of the world b/c you know you will be going to a better place.

There are many studies that proved that the 12/21/2012 being referred by Mayans is not the 12/21/2012 that will be coming next year. There is a discrepancy on the calendar we are using now compared back then. The 12/21/2012 by Mayans will actually fall some 50 years away from now. And it also doesn't mean that the world will end during that time.

I don't know about the physical devastation of the human race but I do think that there will be a spiritual awakening probably. It seems more people are getting more and more faithful and believing in their spiritual beginning and how we are spiritual beings in physical bodies. I think that its possible that there will be a turn to the good side of humanity in a year or so. I don't know if its on a specific day though, that seems a little bizarre to put an exactness on the spiritual awakening. It'll happen when it happens.

I don't think 21/12/2012 will be the end of the world...The date collaborates with the heavenly events, but don't we forget that the calendar itself is made based on the astronomical discoveries of the Mayans ...I would see this as another astronomical events and not more than that...Plus, many catastrophic and worse apocalyptic events has been connected to certain dates, and yet it does not happen at the end...For example, the Y2K bug, which some says that will be the end of the world...At the end, it does not happen at all, and the effects are negligible...

I believe that our world will end but on the exact date of the disaster, I don't believe. Even if they are predicting that the world will end on that exact date. I don't believe. All I'm doing is to pray for God that he will give us the chance to make the most of our lives here on earth, not just thinking of the end of the world. Only God knows what will happen even if they are 100% sure of their predictions.
