This problem concerns to my friend, her husband. The sleeping habit of her 35-year-old husband. He snores very loud especially if he drinks alcohol, or when he is very tired. The worse problem she said, however, is that whatever her husband dreams, he acts it out. She is lucky enough if it is the wall he kicks or hits with his fist. And to tell you the truth, she had fallen off the bed for several times after he kicked her! Sometimes he would wake up with a sore foot after kicking the wall. He had punched her several times, too.
He said he was like this since teenage years. Is this normal? What she will do? Please give us some advice. Thanks!

Oh, wow. I really wish I knew something about this. Me may want to visit a psychiatrist, or even, if they believe in that kind of stuff, a psychic or hypnotist. Sometimes those things, though strange or occult, can actually have a benefit.
That's very strange.

At first, I do not believe this really happened (when my friends told me) until I have seen some evidence, when she got kicked and shows some sores, it was strange indeed that there is someone who will do that during asleep. I then advise her to sleep separately -- same room but different bed. It's possible right? Position his bed in such a way that he cannot hit anything -- cabinet, post, whatever, so he won't hurt himself too. I then suggest her to let him visit a psychiatrist so he can properly assessed, if she thinks that her husband has personality problems or is under a lot of pressure or stress.
She said that her husband won't go, he said he has been like this since his teenage years, so, she was thinking that it may really be just his normal sleeping pattern.
I found out that my friend used to sleep with her sons' room when her husband got drunk, just to be careful in her side.",)
thanks for the response.
