Artits & Society ...

Well... I have got to present a paper in a national conference related to Art and I have chosen the topic "Artists & Society..". I have given my abstract and it has been selected from the panel. Now I have to present my full paper and I need some direction to think about relation of Artists with Society and the impact of Artists on the Society ... So can you guys please help me giving some clue related to "Relevance of Artists impact on Society in 21st century " & "Artists & Society". Thanks in Advance ...

IMO opinion artists play a vital role in modern peace making. It was always well known that art helps against aggressive behavior ,but never before could anyone perform it as easily as today. Nowadays kids that fail at school can easily switch on their computer and with a little talent become good digital artists in one of the biggest industries of the world (movies, games...) that then again have tremendous impact on the everyday normal population. Eg. movies like 2012 showed the whole world that our future is not as safe as we might have thought and started lots and lots of new discussions on topics such as environment policy. Now, without the artists, that film would've never stuck in the heads of everyone and we might've lived towards our destruction. , hope that helped!

I think that in today's day and age, the main relevance of artists is in the digital realm. The reason that I feel that is so important is because of the fact that there is so much digital progression that is made. With technology the way that it is today, no art is the same as it was in the past. This is true, in my opinion, in every kind of art from visual arts "Just photoshop it" to musical art and the advances in autotuning things. There isn't a person alive today that can't be a singer.

I can't be a singer ...he he . If I could be then I was singing some where on stage not just trying to play guitar at home and make myself happy with my thought to consider myself attached with Art ... Digital world has really helped both Artist & Society to come close to each other. I remember my schooling when I had very much interest in listening various types of music related to Indian classical and some great Artist... but the price was too much and it was not easy to get even I have money too... Today I can get it easily to download or buy online ...I can have review of some album before buying it and it always help me to make correct choice ...and all these help has been come due to development of IT world ... But still some artists are there who never get attached with internet or any digital media... Thanks,
