How do you download songs ,videos and movies (free) from the internet ?

There are a lot of "download websites" throughout the internet. I want to know the best ways to download stuff from the internet. Although i download a lot of videos from youtube through IDM ,i also want to download songs and movies. I know torrents are good but it will be helpful if we discuss other normal download options. Where do you download from ? I know 2 good websites like bergfiles.com and downloads.nl . I want to know your list of such websites. So friends lets discuss such FREE download sites here.
