I have been seeing yet another commercial! This was a promo for a new cooking show where the host said she will give us recipes that let us eat guilt-free. Guilt- free?! Everyone should be eating guilt-free! Maybe it's me. I have Always eaten what I want when I want most of the time. I never count calories . I really don't care. But then again I Never thought I was Suppose to be a size 0! I was a chubby kid and a plus size teen. And even though I gained weight Right after highschool , I have lost it now! How did I lose it? Just by working my a$$ off.At my wotk , I am constantly walking .I also stopped eating 3 times a day , I ate just one Huge meal instead. But did I set off for this to happen? No!!I still eat what I want , when I want most of the time! So whenever I hear Anyone say, I can't eat that! I will feel guilty later. I ask Why? If you want it and you are of legal age And it is legal and you don't have a health restriction to it , Eat IT! Life is way too short to forgo a food you love. If it is " fattening" then go exercise afterward! I just see wanting to live a life where you have to stop eating what you like!

I am pretty much the same way I will eat what I want and worry about it later I keep pretty active most of the time except when I am on the computer. I know I will be busy working or walking or going around and I pretty much stay at or around the same weight as I keep pretty busy helping out around the house or at my parents been helping dad collect wood and chop wood and that is a really good workout let me tell you. I will probably be doing that again tomorrow as another storm is coming again this week and dad likes to have the wood stocked up in case you can't get out for a day or two.

You can wield and ax? Wooo! We are Still friends right? Lol! That is a major workout. You should be able to eat Anything you want. Here's hoping there is less snow coming. Take care and say hello to Dad for me.

looks like we have a nasty storm coming our way Monday night into Wednesday so dad is definitely going to want to get some wood chopped up tomorrow. I can wield an ax not as good at it as dad is, but I do my best to help out, since no one else will and it is a lot of work for one person to do alone. Tomorrow will be a hectic day for sure as I will need to try to get home before the snow storm starts that will be fun I am sure NOT!!!

Come to think of it, the term 'guilt-free' does sound to be un-natural when it comes to eating. Why would people feel guilt when they eat. I guess this is just part of the current culture which pushes the lean, skinny-type as the 'right look'. I don't think there is anything wrong with being chubby. It's the people that just sit around being lazy, and then complain about gaining weight that I have a problem with.

I have always been a chubby kid that grew to a chubby teen and adult. And now I'm a curvy adult! why now? The only change is how much I exercise and how many times I eat a day! I will Never be skinny, Guess what?I never wanted to be skinny! I have never been inactive. So I never thought, because of my size , I Can't do that! I guess I am lucky.

Yes..there is a thing called the quality of life and feeling guilty for a good meal is not part of that equation for me...LOL. I usually just eat one meal a day too and some snacks here and there.

Unfortunely I eat everything I like! To much of it! I am morbidly obese and it sucks! I should do somthing about it! I want to be grossly morbid obese like some of those people I see on tv that so big they are bed ridden! I am an emotional eater and getting older makes it even worse! I should get counseling on that but I'm still burned out from years of it for other reasons! So right now I am trying to do it on my own and save up money so I can try hypnosis. This is probaly the hardest thing for me to do in my life and it really sucks!

I am your polar opposite when it comes to eating. If I'm upset , I fast. I once went 36 hours without eating. Any Huge life change is hard. All my hopes go with you in this struggle. You can do this. Try it yourself but if it doesn't work, seek help. There Must be help that does not cost and arm and a leg. Good Luck. ps, if you ever need to talk , send me a private message.

Hi Sarah, Guilt Free food? What is that? All I knew was sugar free food or calorie free food... Many a times I even dare to eat the food that has been medically banned for me and I dont care about anything but my taste buds... Yummy and it keeps the doctors happy too... they get me revisiting them, then they prescribe medicines and I help many many people earn their livelihood... I eat because I love food.

That is the only exception, medical reasons. If a food you love will Now make you sick... then sadly you have to give it up. So you can't cheat. I need my Bhai. stay healthy for me.

I'm with you sister! I eat all the time. I have a high motabolizme so I'm skinny kinda. I have a little belly, but I have been this way my whole life. I think girls have the reputation for eating when upset so thats why it's called guilt-free. Kinda like blond are mainly stupid or "blond"

I agree...there are so few real pleasures in life and eating should be one of them. You shouldn't have to feel guilty because you are feeding your body and soul with fuel!
