Why our society is difficult to move forward?

As a great nation, our society belong to the most consumptive ... When we are free, the Japanese were in a state of disarray due to invasion of allied troops .. but over half a century later, our country is far behind Japan .. I wonder why?

That's all because of supportings from USA,or Japan cannot have advanced so quickly.Do you think so?

Well you have to remember first, Japan has been one of Asia's most powerful country before World War, that's why they can invade our country. Second, I think Japanese people are a very hardworking person and always try to be number 1. That is why they can advance forward than Indonesian which despite rick of natural resources, we are way too conventional and always been a step behind them. Plus, many greediness and corruption among Indonesian officials, which makes things even worse.
