What kind of books do you usually read?...ROMANTIC? HORROR? THRILLER? SCI-FI?

Hello to you! Well i used to read romantic books, when i was younger, and when i was older i used to read thriller, and horror. Now i like to read mystery and drama, it depends on the age, and mood.

In those years when I had plenty of time, I enjoy reading different kinds of books, comedies, detective, historical, adventure, and so on. But, these days, I rarely get to reading books. But, when I have the chance, I would prefer reading comedies. That's relaxing and causes no mental stresses.

I've never read romance novels or westerns ... I have a tendency to judge books by their movies and since I don't like romance or western movies, I can't imagine I would enjoy reading the books either. But beyond that I prefer horror and fantasy but I'll read just about anything. I am hopelessly addicted (like withdrawal symptoms and everything) to the Dresden Files. I read a lot of young adult fantasy, like Harry Potter, and Stephen King horror.

I'm a big fan of high fantasies novels like Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, and The Last Unicorn. Personally, I'm really not all that fond of Harry Potter. I've read all the books but I didn't particularly enjoy any of them. Some of my favorite authors are Stephen Lawhead, Terry Brooks, Bryan Davis, Cinda Williams Chima, Bruce Coville, and Wayne Thomas Batson.

i like the romanic books or the self help or christaian books my daughter loves the harry potter books she loves the to read right now she is reading a book called my sisters keeper she loves to read books that has been in a movie...

Harry potter is my favorite series. Its what got me into reading and truly showed me the power of story telling. I absolutely love it. I'm also a big fan of the lord of the rings and the hobbit. Fantasy just intrigues and excites me as it always challenges my imagination. I also love self help and books about wisdom and insight like the tao te ching

I do enjoy reading a lot of different types of books. I enjoy reading mystery/detective, biographies, historical, just to name a few.

Actually it depends upon my mood, which books i have and which books i can buy.Mostly on my mood.I am feeling bored then i read a magazine like cosmopolitan or sometimes archies comics.If i am feeling romantic then any mills and boon novel but whenever i remember my ex boyfriend i have this habit of reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.Its just plain instinct.

well i generally enjoy a fun read like "the help". i prefer romantic, thriller, suspense and probably some very well written ghost stories too :) i hate sci-fi. i felt it is always better to watch a sci-fi movie than read a book sometimes i enjoy the unconventional books which are either written in a different way or have a different story.

I like science-fictions a lot...I have read many novels of Jules Verne. To read science fiction is really a wonderful experience, you can struggle out of the reality and let your mind flying to the ideal. And I also like detective novels a lot, I think some good novels are the combination of horror, speculative and imaginative, that will be a fantastic taste.

I loveeee the HP books they're wonderfully written and I'm sad that the movies are almost to the end. [I definitely wished I had gotten a Hogwarts letter.hehe] other than HP I like mysteries, books that have to do with paranormal activity or vampires or werewolves [Laurell K Hamilton has a great series too if you weren't into Twilight but like Vampires & werewolves & shapeshifters oh my! haha]

I love Harry Potter but during most of my free time, I read Dan Brown or other books similar to its kind. I find it really fascinating to read such wonderful and thrilling stories. Dan Brown's books are in my most beloved collection because I can read them over and over again and never get tired of it. It's always like reading the book for the first time.

Some authors that I read are: Danielle Steel Nicholas Sparks JK Rowling PC Cast Stephenie Meyers Twilight Series, Harry Potter Series, House of Night Series, and so many others. I love romance books also!
