I won't notice if you comment back my response

Well, I really never check my e-mails for notification, I just built this habit of checking back on discussions I have responded to every once in a while whenever I'm online. I think that you should start doing so too.

Hey, come on. It gives notifications always, I am being 9 months old here, and whenever I give response and when I've comment on that particular response..myLot always notifies me via e-mail. What's wrong with you? Probably that you've opted not to send e-mails to you in your preferences.

I have seen you mention this problem elsewhere and I hope admin will see your discussion and can help in some way. In the meantime have you tried bookmarking the discussions where you have left a comment or a response and think you might receive more? I do that too. I have a folder esèecially for them and I delete them from it once I think that they have been dealt with. While I participating in active discussions I keep a tab open and refresh often.

I agree. It happens quite often with me, & it really chaps my hide. But what're ya gonna do? They're the boss. Complaints go unanswered. Or maybe their system just doesn't get them. Who knows? Alice was the only one who ever really showed up & answered queries, but she's very difficult to find & contact, & the rest seem not to care. But how are we to respond when we get no notice of new posts arriving? I supposed I'm just talking to hear my head roar. I noticed this long ago : you don't always get a notification for all comments made after the first responder. I don't think it is a bug of the system : you often receive notifications for new members commenting in a box, but not from the responder commenting back. This site is for discussing, but I think that myLot wants to avoid too long discussions. When you are a bit more experimented, you keep the box opened and refreshed it times to times, so I don't really care about those notifications.

Well, i see you did not get any satisfaction since posting this topic last time. I feel for you. It is always easier when we are notified. If i don't get a response to my question to you, i'll understand and blame it on mylot. Sorry you are experiencing this difficulty.

Hey! I have the same problem...similar rather. I get notified of responses to my discussion and maybe one or two comments (sometimes) but not all. Since I'm not much of a discussion starter, it's not too hard for me to go back and check my discussions for new comments and reply. It also helps that not many people respond to my discussions But it's harder to keep track of the comments I receive to my responses in the discussions of others I'm notified sometimes and sometimes I'm not:( I was just thinking of starting a discussion on the same (you saved me the trouble..lol). I'm guessing here...but I think I'm not notified if the people I respond to are not on my friend list.

Notification if received, helps a lot. Latetly, I have also not been receiving notices about my comments and I go back to my posts to check the latest developments. Previously, it was not so, I used to get notification for each and every comment/counter-comment/sub-comment/response. I think system might have been changed by mylot.

Well I can't advise you to inform the Admin about this problem of yours. In the first place I don't think they ever write back to complaints sent to them. The most you could do is just as you have been doing already. Just check on your discussions and see the comments so you could comment back.

Hi. That's really a bummer. Do you also check your email? I get my notification via email that tells me basically what's happening at myLot like who posted a response, commented on my response, accepted or waiting for acceptance as a friend.

hello love, I don't know what's the problem with mylot,but i am not receiving notification for 2 days now. I wonder why,maybe there's a glitch or was my system got problem... Now it's giving me hard time as well,i need to dig on to my respond to check if i got comment back or what (ugh...really hard time) i hope this will be resolved soon. have a great day

I usually visit my recent discussions just to see if there are people who commented on my comments for their comments. I mostly enjoy the conversations if it's in one of the discussions I started or those discussions that really interests me.

Yeah they need to make that system a whole lot better like put a notification on our profile mylot page in the home page that would make things a whole lot easier. That's why I don't get to comment back on some of the responses that I get on my discussions it can be so confusing especially if one likes to post a lot of discussions up like me well I used to, but not anymore because than I fail to comment back to people too.

I don't think it's a fault of mylot...if you are not getting notification ,have you check the notification settings? by the which mailing system are you using? have you checked your spam box in that? my be it's happening with you...you should contact mylot team. Once I have find another user also having same problem like you...

Maybe this is something you need to set up to where myLot will send you an Email each time someone responds back to one of your discussions. I know they do with mine, but at the same time I get a lot of Email and so I find it almost as easy to just go to my discussions I have started when I get some Free time and check to see who responds to them, and then respond back as I have time.

It is okay friend if you can't comment back to any of the response. But I suggest you reply them for being a good poster so that they comment again with your post when you make another discussion

That has been happening to me as well. I never get emails about comments that I have left on someone's comment on a different person's discussion. I often forget to check my own profile for comments I have made to see if anyone responded back. Why is mylot doing this to us!

You should go to your Preferences of your mylot account. Then you should tick the relevant feature in the Notification column. Later, i am sure you will get be notified if anyone respond or comment to your discussion. For me, I did get the notification from mylot all the while. Just try as what I advised. If it is still failing you, I advise you to contact the administrator to resolve your problem.

Oh! that's a problem. They are "God News mails" from myLot which are sent to inform you that someone has responded to your discussion and you have recieved a response with details of that response. You must be also not receiving myLotter Digest along with the Good News mail from myLot? It implies you also may not even get myLot's Congratulations! mail when your response is marked as best response. I am using Gmail account for email and I am receiving all these mails or notifications from myLot. Are you using Gmail? I think your problem is related with e-mail account.

well I am 1 week old here in mylot, and i can receive notification from mylot, whenever someone comment back on my response in any discussion i participated, i suggest to check your email add., no offense man, maybe the email you gave to mylot did not match to your original email add, have you tried checking the email add you gave to mylot? or have you send a ticket to mylot regarding to your query? Well, if you tried that, and did not fix it, i guess all you have to do is check every discussion and comments you participated, but don't quit mylot. have a nice day
