Congratulations to Djokovic for winning the 2011 Australian Open with a straight sets win over Murray. Watching this game, it seems like Novak is a worthy successor to the great Federer and Nadal (if he continues to have injuries). Since he last won it in 2008, he seems like he has toughened up his game and improved a lot. Actually, when he last won it, i really thought he would put up a fight to the Federer-Nadal dominance but he was not able to sustain it. Now, i'm really hoping that he can continue and improve his game and win more grand slams. He's quite a likeable fellow especially his imitation of his fellow players:-). I'm excited to see how he fares in the other Slams this year. Good luck.

The Joker strikes again. I think this was probably the best chance that Murray had of winning a Grand Slam final. Sadly, Djokovic was simply too good for him. I think currently the world of tennis has Nadal and Federer at the top of the tree, then we have Djokovic who cashes on any slips from these two. And then there are the rest. Murray and Roddick are at the top of the rest, but I am not sure if they have it in them to win a Grand Slam in future!!
Congratulations to Djokovic!!
Cheers!

Murray at least has a chance to win a Grand slam, but I do not think Roddick will ever win a grand slam again. His game has gone to pieces. The same goes for AnaIvanovich, who is one of the nicest player in the tour, but once again whose game has gone to the dogs.

Today Djokovic was in a zone of his own. He could no wrong. Murray, on the other hand was error prone & seemed overawed by the occasion.
Djokovic is a nice chap & i feel happy for him. He has been languishing in the third position for too far. Hope this win will give him the confidence that he can claim the summit of WTA mens ranking.
Howevr it is too early to write off Fedrer & Nadal is a top class player for many years to come. Djokovic, Nadal & Murray could be worthy rivals for next 5-6 years.

Djokovic's name was always there but only after Federer and Nadal. I wonder if that will change for now since you cannot write off Federer and Nadal.
Murray has improved a lot and lets hope doesn't end up like Roddick.
Djokovic has a bright future and he can challenge Nadal for the top spot.

This will not be neither djokovic's second title nor his final grand slam title. The match was on an extremely high level and djokovic desiredly won it.But i am more concern about murray. He has a lot of pressure on his shoulders and he can not just simply show his full potential on a final in a grand slam.

i agree with djokovic being the successor of federer, but he have still yet to prove it, but seriously i have confidence in him. The guy plays with power and charisma.

So the wait for Great Britain to have its own GrandPrix winner continues. As for Murray, he had a very big chance to win the Australian open, what with both Fedex and Nada not playing the finals.Hopefully Murray might still win in the near future.

.....Hi egsunio, Welcome to the ranch, ejoy, it's a great place to meet new friends. Djokovic is a good player. Winning over those he was matched up against shows he is improving his game nicely. He beat Roger handily, amazing to watch. Roger has a family now and he may not be as hungry as he once was. Nadal, has the knee problems. But all players if they reach the top, maintain that position, if they are healthy for as long as they can, they peak and then they slide. Human arc. I would like to see Roddick reach his goal. I don't think his potential has been realized as yet. I enjoy tennis, although if those that I like are not competing at the end I tend to lose interest. "o) Looking forward to the next tournament. Thanks for the discussion on a subject I love. Take care.
