Right now I have straight talk but am thinking of switching to verizon prepaid mobile. The phone I have is dinky and I really think Verizon has better phones and one that I would use. Has anyone here used Verizon Prepaid mobile and if so could you tell me your experince with them and if you liked their customer service or not?

I have the straighttalk and I wouldn't trade it for anything. My daughter has verizon and it is sometimes hard to keep up with the charges. I think there are packages though. She has prepaid text and it is 20 bucks a month. Just text. Mine is 45 and I have unlimited text, talk, and internet. My phone is almost just like hers too. If you were wanting an updated and awesome phone..verizon certainly has alot of choices but I'm ok with the basics.

I pay $45.00 a month as well and have the samsung black phone with the camera. I'd like something I can do more with and have been looking around for the best phone deal. I think I found it, and am going to be making a discussion about it here shortly! I could ugprade my phone with straight talk and have though about that but well I'll explain why Im probably going to go with another company.

Verizon and I don't get along. I used the prepaid program for about a month and my granddaughter used too much time so I was charged alittle extra. Customer service was wishy washy. When I first called them to order the cell phone and the USB ISP I told them I wanted them both on one bill. That never happened. Here is the link to the Mylot discussion I started about my run in with Verizon. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2373238.aspx And it continued until well into August when I finally got back with manager who had originally told me if I had anymore problems to call him. I did and he was conveniently on vacation so I waited a bout a week and a half until he was in the office. I called and spoke to him, made sure he would be working, and told him I was coming in to talk to him. I did and he did finally take care of it for me. This was from mid May until August.

Oh my! Okay I definitely don't want to go with verizon prepaid then! Thanks for the headsup! I hate that you had to deal with all that though, so many months dragging by with tryign to get everything straightened out!

When it comes to any prepaid plan, you have to pay for the phone straight up. The problem I had when it came to verizon in general is that you have to pay extra for any webtime used on their phone. I liked straight talk, which is what I had before I went to US Cellular. But I didn't get good service in my area from Straight Talk. You can get better phones with Straight Talk though. They even have 2 smart phones to choose from!

They do? I'll have to check that again then. Yes I didn't like the data rates. This is my second prepaid phone, the one I have now. I really want a contract phone but at the same time.. I'm not sure. Thanks for letting me know about the smartphone with straight talk, I will check it out again. Sometimes straight talk will act like I have no service, and sometimes it seems won't send my messages, but other then that it's an okay prepaid service, I just wish I had a better phone. Thanks Again!
