Forrest Gump 2 Share you opinion

I think we all know this great movie Forrest Gump, it tells the story of a young boy growing up and dealing with all sorts of situations, and when something goes wrong... RUN FORREST RUN.
Well, on the internet there a lot of speculation on the subject Forrest Gump 2. What do you think about this, will it ruin the charms of part one or will it enchant part one. Personally I think it isn't a good idea to make a part 2, becouse if they do it will look like they needed some more money and came up with this idea to use an old million dollar movie. On the other end, if they will make an part two I will be very curious what it will look like and if the storyline will be that good as part one or maybe even better. Share your opinion.

I like the idea of another Forest Gump movie but believe it just wouldn't work what could the plot be about there's only a very few things they could do which would involve the original Forest Gumps son in some sort of a way but even then I don't want a remake of the original forest I want something new and different to any potential of the film. I'd like to see it happen to see if the director and writers can come up with another good film which can both feel like a Forest Gump spin off but also with some originality.

Thanks for your comment, i agree with you I would also like to see another part of this movie that has the charms of the movie but is something totally different but i consider if the writers will be creative enough to come up with something like that.

it say's here no body is weak, maybe you do not have high IQ but the talent or the skill that you have lift you up. I believe that God did not made a person that is totally weak. nobody is exempted of having talents, high IQ,special skills and a gift.

Yeah the movie would have to have something creative and different about it to make it work well but then again it might just be strolling away from the original forest gump film.

I'm not sure how they could do a part 2. The first movie followed Forest from the time he was young till he was older and met his son. At the end of the first one he sends his son off to school. I suppose they could do something with him and his son and the son is older. I can't imagine them doing it with anyone else but Tom Hanks though. It would surely flop. No one could do it as good as he did. I've noticed though they are taking a lot of older movies and making a second one or a remake.

Yes ur right on that one Tom Hanks has to be in the movie. It would be a shame to part one if they won't let Tom Hanks play and if part two has a very bad story line. So or the writers have to come up with an great idea and let Tom Hanks play or they have to let part 2 go.
