These are currently the most prevalent smartphone operating systems out there in the market. What do you guys think about this line-up? Pro's and cons?

android because its faster and more efficient and also mainly its open source, ios and win7 are closed source and hefty too slow compare to android and there is an exceeding amount of limitations, never used webos but i hear its good and far better than ios and win7 because it runs on linux kernel..

I agree very much with you in that android is open source and which is why I would prefer it over any other operating environment out there right now.

i was also thinking about this 2 months ago when i bought a mobile phone. which OS to get? ultimately, I went for android since its open source (easier to find apps since practically anyone can make apps for it). what i didn't like about the ios was the storage on the phone and its limitations. you cannot fully customize the ios since its not open source and as such you might get stuck with some of the bloatware that it may have. whereas in android, you can customize all you want. you can even make a custom ROM based on the android OS (I am using a custom rom right now). as for the win phone 7, what i didn't like it is all the animations. even simple page turning there is an animation. it adds some milliseconds to the loading. though some people will actually like it that way. also not that convinced its a complete redesign of windows mobile 6.5, which was just a pain to operate. still having reservations on win phone 7 because of how bad the previous version was. haven't tried webos though, i have tried the new symbian though. its not good. its all i can say, lots of problems. they reportedly came up with a patch but i heard it still doesn't address all of the concerns.

I like android because it has lots of apps in the market, some free and some not. I have used windows mobile once, but it was slow and I had a lot of problems with it. I haven't had any problems with the android so far, and I think it is one of the best phones I have ever owned. I have only had my phone for a few months, and I am really enjoying it so far, and since I just upgraded a few months ago, I need tl keep it so I hope to get a lot of enjoyment out of it. I have put a few apps on it already, and I have been enjoying the apps and games. Take care, and have a very good day.

I have an Android phone and I've once used an iphone and I can say that Android is better when it comes to entertaining the users. It's more user-friendly. It's easy to operate the Android system. So far, I haven't had any problems with my Android phone.
