Hi. For me, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If I had a hearty breakfast, I can go on without lunch. You're right, it really gives you energy to tackle the day ahead. My breakfast almost always consists of rice, eggs and a type of meat dish, but my favorites are bacon, sausages and the Filipino version of tapa, which is cured beef or pork. (People might confuse this from Spanish tapas which is basically a snack or an appetizer)

Ideally we have to eat breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day. When Im in the province and taking a break, I eat breakfast. There would always be a choice between rice or bread. Before I usually eat rice, together with corned beef, beef tapa, hotdogs, bacon, and egg. I can eat a breakfast type meal all day. Ill have mango juicevafter. But lately I switched to just bread and coffee. However, when Im staying in Manila, I dont usually eat breakdast. Mainly because I live alone and no one will prepare my food unlike when Im home in the province. But when I do eat, I usually buy from Jollibee the beef tapa meal with either coffee or hot chocolate.
