Kim Clijsters, A Deserving Champion...!!!!

I saw the 2011 Australian Open Final, and Kim Clijsters deserved to be the champion. Both the players played with similar styles. Li and Kim likes to hit the ball hard, and played fast tennis. It was absorbing to watch both the players. But in the end Kim's experience helped her prevail over Li Na.
No doubt, Li Na played well in the 1st set. But the way Kim broke Li's serve in the second set to clinch it, was simply unbelievable. I think this dented Li's confidence. Once Kim got her rhythm back, there was no stopping her. She breezed through in the third to claim her first Australian Open. She dropped just one set the whole tournament (and that was in the final). That is incredible...!!!
It is good to see that all her hard work paying off.

Yeah! No doubt about bit... Kim is indeed one of my fave to win Australian Open 2011! Come on man, what is Li??? Why is it that people tends to see her as 'something' because she just suddenly improve? I can see Kim winning more tournaments this year as well as the coming year but not Li.
To me, Li would probably be another Zheng Jie, reason is because she is just inconsistent. So what if she wins at Brisbane and made it all the way to the final at Australian Open 2011? Just look at her performance at the following tournaments, she got knock out in the first round, and worst still, to players who are way her junior as well as rank way below her. Doesn't this sounds like Zheng Jie's career?

Yes she is fighter know she is playing champions the 2011 australian open she won . she playes terific in the australian open a lot of time i see that she just fought back after one down in the match in final after losing 1st set she just terrific and the true champion has won the australian open 2011. i wish she will play like only.

The last time they played in Australia, just a week before the Australian open, LiNa, came back to beat Kim Clijsters, but in the final of the Grand Slam event it was Kim who came back and won the title. This shows the true grit of the champions. Kim Clijsters already has a couple of American open title in her pocket, so she knew how to win the crucial points, even though she was down match point.As I said, this is what Champions are made of.

Yes, Kim seems to be playing better since her come back than she did before leaving and having a child. I'm a big Ana Ivanovic fan, so I was very disappointed when she lost in the first round. I hope Ana continues to improve after her big fall in the rankings because of injury and a loss of confidence. Maybe she will do well in the French Open. I would like to see a final between Ana and Kim.
