Yes I did too. Not just asleep but sometimes I said I'm not home I left my phone at home or I'm outside the house taking dogs walking or etc. Sometimes I did that cause I can not afford to say yes or no of what they want to do with you. Cause if you say No to them they get upset and it sound that you are wrong later on.

Hi dear,
Not exactly. But when I was in school, I used to do so much of fund like this. Pretended to be sleeping, not well and so many things. When thinking of all, it looks so interesting now. But my mom was well aware that I am not sleeping and she makes some tricks to identify the same. However, people who really don't involved in certain things, just for a safer side we do such things and it would be a moment of pleasure afterwards.
Thank-s

I used to do that often when I was single and lived on my own. I had a friend who used to want to go out and party on a regular basis and although it was great fun at first it got too much and I ended up not answering my phone and allowing my answering machine to take her drunken calls from the bar she was at begging me to join her! I just got to the point when I needed a good break from the constant partying …That was almost twenty years ago and I am still not ready to go back to it! (LOL)

ive done this a million times! lol. mostly because i just dont want to talk to the caller. especially when the number flashing on my screen is unfamiliar. i dont like taking calls from unknown numbers. so i usually ignore them. or like you, when im avoiding something or someone, i pretend to be asleep. although somehow i know that my mom already knows about this strategy and she's usually not convinced that im asleep. lol.

I pretended to be asleep so my parents would tell me to do my homework, this was a long time ago.
