Here you will discover the SECRET of a SOCIAL NETWORK that YOU PAY instead of paying you.
They said "imagine if you were paid for every post or comment you make you earn."
Sign-up is free now. But if you're in, they want you to upgrade to GOLD member to reap the full benefit of the network. After you upgrade for a month, the next coming month you're obliged to pay $24.95 again or else you're a free member again. Which social network is this? This is somewhat a scam to me.

I believe you are referring to swom. For you to earn from that site, you need to be a gold member first. And you really have to be a gold member every month. I wouldn't say it's a scam since they're paying members on time still.
You need to be active on the site to earn what they call as community points. A total of 200 community points is the maximum that you'll get although it can exceed in the event that you get bonus community points due to active participation. If you're able to get 6000 community points every month, you'll be able to pay for your next month's gold upgrade.
For you to really earn a residual income, you need to refer a member who will upgrade to gold as well. Every month that you and your referrals stay upgraded to gold, you will get commissions from them over and over.
If you're not good at getting your own referrals, your other option to earn more is to encourage new members who haven't upgraded yet to pay for gold membership. Regardless, who their sponsor is, you can encourage them to upgrade to gold and if that member indeed upgrades to gold within 30 days that you encouraged the person to upgrade, you'll get a share of the 'gold evangelist' bonus.
Yes, I am a member of the site and no I am not a gold member. In fact I'm not even active on that site.

Ahahaha. They're really an annoying bunch right? You always hear them say "Happy gold swomming!" over and over again. Then, they will tell you that it's best to upgrade to gold. Well, they're doing that to earn a share in the 'gold evangelist' bonus. However, though, from a free member's stand point it's like you're being pressured to upgrade.
Well, I hope their Open University is much better than the dashboard.

lol swon is not a scam. Look everyone is so quick to say scam when you obviously dont know the meaning. They tell you you must upgrade to make money before you even signup so why signup knowing you have to upgrade. The site is completely free to use but if you want money from it then you have to spend some to make some. you only scammed yourself because you obviously thought you could beat the system by joining for free and still make money without upgrading which the site clearly says you have to upgrade. i do know some people that make money with swon and the thing is if you know 50 people that have the extra money to upgrade then you get a percentage of their monthly fee and so on and so on. Thats not a scam but it is bs but not a scam. A scam is hen i ask you to pay for something and whatever it was you paid for was fake.
