Several days ago, I got my first salary in life. I gave it to my mother and she was so happy.

Half of it would probably end up in the bank.Or investment account.The other half?Payment for the car,and of course the house.Then,I'll figure out what I want to have for that particular month.

When I received my first salary as a Paralegal, I treat myself and joined my cousin and dined in to our favorite restaurant, Teriyaki Boy. I also bought some good stuff I need for work. Then, saved the half.

The very first salary I received was back when I was 16 and it was so amazing to have all this money. For the first 12 months of salary I was saving as much money as possible and shopping at discount frozen food places to ensure I could save as much money as I could. Also, I was having to pay rent because I was not living with my parents anymore and therefore most of my first salary went on rent, food & savings. I didn't care though because I was being independent and not relying on anyone else to help me support myself.
